Chas, I havnt find it but I'll let you know be sure.
Thanks Wijnand, Frank and Martyn for your kind words.
Following is the way I use for the tiles.
I use light cardboard, but you can use heavy paper too. Just get a lighter cardboard than the one you use for house structure.
First make a grid on the leaf, then cut to get thin stripes.
The re-cut it till you get this nice stack of rectangles.
Now let's this cardboard takes shape on a cylinder to get this mediterranean looking round tiles. Time to glue!
Regards Gents.

Very nice work indeed.
Only allow me to make a correction about the tilling.
You should put a row of tiles upside down among two rows of tiles.I don't know if you understand me.
let me show you how:
the tiles as you have placed them:
(_(_(_(
(_(_(_(
The correct form should be like this:
(_(_(_(
)_)_)_)------>the row I am talking about
(_(_(_(
The row in the middle I have made, should be among and below yours, and all this to prevent water from falling inside the wooden roof.
Thank you and excuse for my correction post
Best regards,
Zisis Tsagarakis

Salut Alexandre,
For some reason i missed this one! You did some great work here, this look absolutely convincing.
I'm glad to have another scratchbuilder onboard.
It surely is more fun as simply putting up a prebuild house!

Alexandre, that is some seriously good work there. I am really enjoying this thread.
Did you remember / find out the name of that thin wood you used for the door? (did I overlook what it is called in the thread?)
Cheers,

Very Cool!
Excellent work Alexandre. I've been collecting figures and refernce photos for a similar build, but it's been on the back burner (so to speak) for some time. Thanks for the inspiration.

I like it, really realistic! Now only giving few stones other colours, a bit drybrushing and it will look splendid!
