Both the Fire Truck and Semi-Tractor are very nice choices. Especially the Semi-Tractor could look great towing something just as large like an MSTA or a MAZ-537 on the trailer.

Believe me when a TOPOL comes out in 1/35th I am probably going to have to have one. Even in this however, I want to convert it into the fuel carrier vehicle for the missiles which is EVEN LONGER than the TEL with the missile! The rear overhang of the long fuel tank is amazing.

If it is an extra axle you need then buy two Scud TELs and knit together the Chinese license built version. They added an unpowered axle in the middle.

Michael, I saw those you posted. They are totally cool. I can't wait. Few pages back, you posted photos od MAZ-543 with a crain in the back which got me excited as well, but I'd love that big maz as a airport fire truck or a tug. I don't suppose you have a pic of it towing any aircrafts that you can share??

Oh forgot to add, I too would love a semi tractor/trailer version f the MAZ-543

Mike I think that is the only photo I have of the 543 as an airport tug but I will look again.

The KET-T is already in production by PanzerShop and the crane is planned for this fall according to their website.

Yes a Topal in 1 35 would be great but it would be a monster of a kit.Plus I don't even know where I could place it at much less paint it.

We often see photos of the vehicle posted above. Does anyone have an idea what its' purpose is/was? It looks like it might be a transporter/erector for an even larger mobile ICBM?????

I initially thought it might be a crane but the cabins seem to be located at the base and in the middle so the erector theory sounds more plausible.

there are several more variants on page 3 the post of Michael Koenig with the erected container is actually the transport and the recharging variant of the A-135 anti-ballistic missile system also known as 53T6 there is a six axle variant that is made to put the rocket in to the container they are actually two one holds the rocket and the other holds the container
