Sounds like a great build!

Can anyone recommend a good Merkava kit? I don't mind which variant.

OK guy's I've jumped in, don't do much armour but I'll enter with either a Shot, Shot Kal or Shot Kal Dalet.

I'll need help from you guy's when it come to weathering as there's not much in my normal 1/144 aircraft that will help in 1/35 armour.

Hey I'm in with a braille scale Merkava III. Thinking of putting a mine roller unit on it, not sure if the III has ever pushed one but I think it would look cool. Besides, the Israelis probably did somewhere at some time...

I was thinking about doing the Bronco Hotchkiss for this campaign but I just got hold of the new Tamiya M1 Super Sherman and may do that as a 1956 version.

Looking at the kit I have to agree with some of the reviews I've seen on-line that it's disappointing Tamiya didn't completely re-do the Sherman like they did with the Matilda and Panzer II. This kit is a mix of old running gear and lower hull and new upper hull and turret parts. Even the new stuff is not quite the same caliber as some of the other things they're doing now. Still, with the Tasca VVSS set it should build up well and it IS Israeli after all!

Finally found a kit that's different enough for me. I'm going with a IDF M113 Fitter. Sort of an armored tow truck. Just wierd enough for me. Most friends think I'm a little wierd, they just have no real idea. Model on.

I'm doing DML's Orange Box M51.

I've been told it is my birthday present!

Oh no! I managed to get hold of the Academy 1/32 F-16I Sufa!! This may move the M1 SuperSherman to a WAY back burner!

How 'bout a popularity poll? Which would you guys rather see me build? Not, of course, that I promise to be bound by the result, but the posts may keep the campaign bumped up to the top of the list!

Can't wait to get started. I'll be building a first batch M50 not sure if I'll do a M50 based a M4A4 or a M4A1 intermedate hull yet.

Regards,

Rod

OK, seeing as how there are already several Shermans and an F-16I, here's my choice for this campaign:

Really looking forward to building this one! I'll be using the Sky's decals and plan to make a 1948-9 version (so one of the first two IAF Mustangs). Now just have to finish off that F-84 for the Korean campaign!

Nice kit Michael, I've heard that's a real gem. I think there is a book that is completely dedicated to building the 1/32 Tamiya P-51.

Hi
Started my L33 for the Arty campaign over the weekend so for a change i will built an Azimut M3 scout/armoured car conversion mounted on a revell M3 copy of the old kit.
Should be a nice quick build.
