Heya!
Sounds good to me (if the campaign takes 2 years long).

I am interested depending on the actual start date as I have got myself into 3 in the first six months of 2011 and I am running the next gen campaign for the younger members here. I picked up the Merkava IV from Academy today so perhaps I was mind reading.

I'd like to build a Merkava, but, with all the campaigns I'm signed up for, I couldn't do it before August.

Late next year sounds good. Are there any good stand alone figures of Israeli troops?
If not, I will probably consider a braille or quarter scale Merkava I or II.

I bought a Fitters last week. I don't see why I couldn't hang on to it for a few months.

Sounds great. I am in. I have a Merkava II that would fit very nicely.
Start August 2011 or later sounds good.

Gents,
Sounds real good to me for late 2011. But a question, are we speaking of any particular time period ? (48,56,67,73,82 ?)
Plus I assume this would be a network campaign encompassing armor, air, figures, and ships ?
Just wondering......Thanks......Bruce

Greetings everyone,
I will participate. I would like to suggest we allow it to encompass anything since Israel became a independent country in 1948 and to really mix things up we include our bretheren wing nuts and sea slugs LOL
All the best,
Brian

Masterclub makes some very interesting looking IDF figures, which I have wanted to pick up and will if figures are allowed for this campaign.

I just realized that I have a 1/35 Academy Merk III with Legend conversion set, so I'm good using that if this kicks off.

Scott,
Sounds good to me. Next question, how long is the campaign going to run for. Some of us are definite slow builders, and need to plan ahead !
Hopefully, we'll have a good turnout on this one. Take it easy.........Bruce

I am thinking of adding a mandatory rule for all campaigns (except those currently running).
- Builder must post at least one in-progress photo in the campaign thread.
What do you guys think?

I do this anyways, so it won't affect me either way.

Seems like a reasonable rule, since the whole point is to do something around similar theme and discuss our builds and vehicles to "increase the general stock of knowledge" as old D used to say.
I might be interested, but if we do partial builds, how far along can they be? I have a Magach 7c conversion I started some work on, but the whole thing is far from finished (it still needs the hull done and have about 80% of the turret glued together). There's also the Sh'ot Kal but that one is not far from painting so I won't save up that one.
