Hey Claude, you keep adding that eye candy, it makes it all so much better. Wonder if the coffee has an extra flavor to it, lol. bob d.

Andrew, thanks for your comment and letting me know that the book arrived.Glad you liked it.
Hi Stefan, thank you very much! Until know i discovered only one of my books on Ebay later on, so i am happy to see them still in use.
Hi Nico, those last bits are really the most difficult things to do in a dio but it certainly makes a difference.
Thank you Bob!
After 2 years and 3 weeks of work (every day except holidays) i consider this module No.6 done. Here it is alongside the neighbour module.
The overall size of what you see in this picture is 1.4 x 1.5 m. Add a year of work for the left module.
As you notice there is a bit of landscaping to do in front of the bridge, but this is only a few hour workload and i will wait till i had the last module nearly done to decide on that part
Ok, there is also still the Harley and his rider to finish and i may add a civil vehicle (a Citroën 11) somewhere but i intend to do those things during the next months. The fountain column is not written off also, i just want to get on now and finally start the last part, the Villa Prüm.
After all the doubts I had at the beginning of this module (water, tower sculpting, available space and lack of reference photos) i think the end result is not to bad.
Have a nice Christmas everyone
Claude

It's simply magical Claude, the small details and the complexity of the whole. I wish I could go back again to see it in 1:1, it was such a beautiful time.

Thank you guys! .
I give this a few days, (reaching 100 k views on this thread will probably not be possible) and then i will start a new thread with the last part. This will probably not be so interesting for you as the real interesting part is the planning in my head, the build itself is routine already.

Could you do a video "tour" of the model for those of us who will never get to see it with our own eyes. I'd love to see how the whole model pans across.

I can certainly try to do that.
Ok, the last part will take a few months only (hopefully)and i need to have it placed together after that. As i need to do that for the book pictures anyway this is only a question of time.
As a lot of you are asking for a second book (perhaps only out of courtesy, but i'm doing it anyway )i need to refrain from posting to much pictures (who would buy the book otherwise?). So a little video tour would perhaps be a nice things for those few not willing to buy this book
You know what, i got an inquiry to provide my diorama for visual effects filming for a film. It's not decided yet but that would ne a nice experience! 2013 is looking already like it will be a very busy year.

Morning Claude,
Well another year draws to a close and what an interesting one is has been for the Village. You dedication to detail and quality of work shines through in everything you do and is a real inspiration.
Thanks for keeping us all posted on the progress. It is and has been a real pleasure watching this project develop over these last years, hopefully one day I'll get to see the real thing.
Seasons greetings to you and your family and have a Happy New Year.
All the very best.

Oh my goodness Claude, you are an incredible diorama builder. I just saw/ found this and I'm glad all you WIP pics are still up cause I will go through this entire thread carefully and see how you have done all this in detail. Now, what are these books of your? Are they model building/guide? I'd be interested to find out more.
Well, your work is simply amazing. So, keep doing what you doing and take alots of pics on the way for us

Well Claude .... theres not much more to say. I still admire your dedication to this and find inspiration from that as well. What are your plans now for this ... is there more to build?

Hi Mike, i'm glad you found the thread. One more follower to the Clervaux adventure then?
The book is about everything regarding the build of the castle, and only the castle. History, planning and execution on 80 pages and 500 picttures.
As i do not like to brag about the book myself and push people to a buy they later regret i suggest you read the few reviews posted on my Homepage (just click on my banner)and get an idea if it is something you would be interested in.
You know about the castle? The whole Clervaux thing has been developing here over the past 7 years already! Just check under my profile, the threads started, everything with Clervaux in the title.
Unfortunately there are lots of pictures missing from the beginning years. As this is done to protect the owner's of the book, i hope everybody understands the need to do that. At one point i will also lighten up the picture input of the last modules work.
Thanks Franck, yes, hard to find something to say after so many years
I will start a new topic shortly about the next and last part. My website Blog is more up to date :-)
In short, as the water of the last module is already done ( remember, i wanted to use up the resin) and it is "only" 70x 80 cm big, the only thing needed to fill this is one single structure, a Villa, a very complicated one and a challenge on it's own.
Details in the next topic to be opened soon!

Claude,
I may not post here as much as I used to. It is because I have run out of things to say!! Be assured that I still keep up with your progress and really admire your work. Best of luck with the end part of your project!
