Thanks for the ideas guys. I appreciate the time you took to post everything. In these hectic times it means a lot.
Problem is,I have tried this stuff already. Try to get a really small scale piece of plastic like some of them already on the car from cut up clear plastic and you will see what I mean. I will try to reduce the size of my pieces already used but it's harder than you think well, for me anyway.
I am no longer the young smart ass para I once was!! Hahahaha

Yes,getting old and tired but I still had it in me to fix the wiper blades and reduce the glass bits some. I also added the back seat guy and made some more branches.
Need a few more branches to thicken up the roof a bit and for the front bumper and fenders. Started paint on the Oberst.
Another layer. Almost there!
Thanks guys as always for your nice remarks and suggestions.

Thanks Mike and Ron,
No damage on the front passenger door, inside or outside. You must be thinking of the rear door?

Jerry m8,
these wipers are perfect now!! The windshield glass fragments are much better too!!
Well done Sir!!!
But.....please do something about those leaves...they look "artificial" if you see what I mean. They are all identical, both in shape and in colour!
Cheers

Well, the leaves are all not the same color when seen on my desk. Must be the light?
As far as all the leaves being the same size and shape. My trees outside have all the same size and shape leaves during the summer.
So....I don't know what you mean and if they are wrong how do I fix it?

Thanks Mike,
Problem with that brand of leaves is it is much bigger than the ones I am using so mixing them looks kind of odd.

Still on a buzz from the hours of placing all of those leaves. I will have to take a fresh look today.

Thanks Dan,
Appreciate you looking in. I take it from your moniker that you were in/are in Panama?
I was at Ft Sherman 2 times for jungle training and jumped into the airport in Panama City in Dec1989 for Op. Just Cause

No Jerry, it was a nickname that was bestowed on me while at Stewart back in the late '80's.
A silly story...

No, there is only silliness on the nickname.
We had a 1SG that loved to talk about Panama and how tough it was when he was in the 82nd (and we were in a tank company!).
I would exaggerate his stories and the younger troopers nicknamed me this name.

Hi Jerry,
Looking excellent so far. Just a thought, how are the branches held on the roof? The wipers look much better. Super work.
Cheers

Aha! I wonder if your first shirt was a tanker in the 82nd that used those "tank like" vehicles called the Sheridan?
We worked with those guys in Just Cause and in Desert Storm.
Good story.

Thanks Al,
The roof has a very fine wire running from the two back side windowes. It's hard to make out in my pics.

The Oberst has assumed room temperature. It was nice to work with some of AM 's PE stuff and decals.
I spent way more time on the hat than I normally would. Finding some nice ref pics of real hats I included his plastic name pocket triangle on the inside of the lining.
I don't know where those giant fingers came from! I better call the Avengers!

Very impressive work ! That kepi is top-notch just like the paint work on the figures .......but i'm sorry to say this, if i look on his epaulets i see a Major and not an Oberst. So to me it's Herr Major in stead of Herr Oberst. An Oberst has two stars or pips on his epaulets.
But maybe it is just me having a bad day and i admit that your work is absolutely fantastic .
Looking forward to see a lot more Jerry !
Cheers

Thanks guys. The pips are probably on the PE but I didn't see them and so didn't paint them!!
Of course, maybe I used the wrong ones as well. I will have to check.
Thanks for the eagle eye.
