Thank you and thanks Dad for getting the pictures up. I also have to thank Dad for letting me copy some of what he's doing.

Mason,
your build is much better than my builds in your age! I am also happy to see that youngsters like you are still interested in this hobby.
But let me suggest one thing: If possible check and correct the alignment of the roadwheels, otherwise you might run into difficulties when mounting the Friul track.

I've been attaching each link one at a time. After doing the one side, Dad suggested that I put together two links in pairs and a whole bunch at a time to speed things up and then attach the pairs into one length. I'm not sure why he didn't mention it before

Mason I measure and cut all of the pins and then add the links one at a time, I then work my way along the run after assembly to secure each pin in place.

Your Dad is letting you work out which way is most comfortable for you
There's a lot of different approaches to get these done...me, I start them near the beginning of the build and do 10-20 links at a time, then set them aside and work on something else. When I need a change from styrene and PE I go back and do another batch. By the time the kit's finished, so are the tracks.
This is looking excellent Mason, keep up the great work!

Posting for Mason since he's been busy with school, Scouting and learning the alto sax....here he got the one side of tracks on and a little bit of weathering. In fact, he was using my mk IV as an example and broke of the top of the antennae....oops!

I had trouble fitting the commander into the hatch, so I had to trim some off of him. I also started some of the weathering while I work on the other track set

Blowing on that sax he'll be breaking girls' hearts. Mason, this is a very impressive build. I'm collecting as many am parts as I can lay my hands on for Dragon's Pz.IV Ausf.G LAH and will be using your interior build as a jumping off point. I've never been very good at capturing the wear and tear on the inside, but yours' is inspiring. I built this same kit(except it was a Tamiya one) and had great fun. I was impressed with my work, when I was 6, but you are lightyears beyond anything I could do. You are still out of my class on that interior. Ah, to be young and have small fingers again. I'm interested to see how those Friuls turn out as I'm ordering a set for my Ausf.G.

Thank you. I must credit my Dad and the members here for suggestions and direction. I have learned so much spending time reading through Armorama threads. The Fruils are working out really good. The first set I put on are a little loose, my Dad and I just don't know how to safely fix them right now.
Here's some more pics.

This really looks good. It is much better than my F1 build from a couple of years ago. You should check and see if one of your lhses can display it for you.

Folks, I'm posting for Mason since he's heartbroken. Our cat decided to play with his F1 while we were at a school Christmas concert tonight. We came home to find it in pieces all over the floor. It is salvageable though. He has proudly left it out for all visitors to see as he works through the tracks and final stages. This is a new level for the cat, since she has never taken interest in any of the models before. The bad part was that all he had time to do was find the busted off pieces before getting his bath and heading straight to bed...he wanted so badly to stay up and fix it, but it''s a school night...

I think I might cry if that happened. At least it is salvagable. Bad kitty, no catnip in your Christmas stocking.

He is the one that got me into it. Work has slowly taken it's toll though.

Don't be sad, Mason. You have done a great job! It's something you should be proud of. I'm amazed at your work, really! Cuz I have never built a model like that till now. I just started learning how to be a modeller.Again,it's a great pleasure to follow up your pics.
