Just out of curiosity, does a Pzkpfw 38(t) count as a light tank?

I think so Mark.
German army used it as a light tank.
I'm in with a Panzer II from Tamyia.

I signed up aswell a while ago and finaly made up my mind on what to build, will be a zvezda t-26, i know there are some issues with the kit with regards to some features of some different models all being rolled into one, but don't know yet if i will be fixing those or building it straight from the box.

I'm interested in this campaign but I want to see if what I'm doing qualifies. I've been working on creating a 1/24 scale M5A1 resin kit for about a year and have most of the major assemblies ready for casting
. I obviously don't have a box for the pre-buildup photos and although I've been working on this kit for a long time I've not "built or started building" an actual model for entry in the campaign. Seems kind of crazy to ask but I thought I'd double check to make sure there wasn't a problem before enlisting.
thanks,
Jim

Great! I'll steer much more of my kit working time towards the M5A1 then ( I've also been working on an M4A3 as well ). Once the campaign kicks in full gear then I'll put together some photos of the pieces for the "kit" and start actually building! The first photos of the kit will be here.

Hello to all! I think I read it on a post but just to be sure: Befehlswagen on Pz IB is OK? If so, count on me!

Okay, it's probably a good thing we've not officially started yet as I'm having to track down some of the key pieces of the tank such as the turret. I'm not terribly worried as I found the mold for it but it's a rough way to start. Managed to locate some hull pieces, road wheels, sprockets and most of the track prototypes so I can start making molds for them. Good thing we have a year........

Thanks John I wasn't quite sure because Wikipedia says it's a medium tank for some reason.

I'll be joining in later in the year. I've got a round of medium tanks that need to get done. The only light tank in my stash is a Tristar 38(t) Ausf. G that I'll eventually do as a radio/command tank.

This one's got to be legit - it even says Light Tank on the box! Looking forward to a good campaign. This one will be OOB + aftermarket decals.

Nice choice Graeme,
Here is my picture of the box and contents.

BTW I have no problem if anyone wants to start uploading your box photos now. We will get started in about a week!

I got this in a trade today. I'm planning to do the one of the left late M5A1 1/48 Kengi. Hopefully all the parts are in these bags to finish it - will get it out after the start date

Anthony;
Word of friendly caution here, mate!
I think that these panzers were accompanied by some rather diminutive (some might say Hobbit-like) troopies... Surely the box-art so indicates, and we all know such are accurate portrayals of things as they were... I'm not sure that the supporting-cast kit(s) you have selected have the right-sized guys in them!

I think my plan is to wait for either the new Bronco Chaffee or the Vulcan British Light Tank mk VI C.
