Real nice build Michael! Great job! You should post the pics directly in the thread, or even better, submit a feature to the site.
Cheers!

Thanks I appreciate your comments. I am very new to this forum. Was just now trying to figure out how to post at least a opening photograph to the thread. So far, no luck!
OOps, it looks like I might have figured out at least part of the process!
Thanks again!

It's actually gite easy with Photobucket: if you click the image there are about four ways shown to share the image. Copyy the one that says IMG Code. Put it in a post here (as many as you like actually) and that's it. Once you click the yes button to post it will show the pics.
Cheers!

I finished the 155mm gun (backdated AFV Club model) and the M1 Limber (Scale-Link) for the Mack to tow. Still working on the scratch M23 Ammo Trailer.

1/35th scale Mack NO6 model in early stages of development.

Size comparison with standard US 1/4 ton Jeep. At this stage however the Mack was sitting way too high and in dire need of revamping of the suspension.

I've always found the Mack NO to be a very attractive WW II truck. Very modern looking for the period.

Underside view of finished load box. The same company that built the wooden load box for the GMC Deuce built the box for the NO. Hence the same metal hardware was used on both:

Rear mud flaps and tailgate under construction:

Spare tire racks:

Finished hood and radiator cowl.
The headlight guards on the Mack are actually the grill guards off the Dragon Wagon kit just rotated 90 degrees with additional cross bars added to the stock DW guards.

Photo of same area taken from the original Army Tech Manual for the Mack:

Item #5 is the driveshaft carrying power forward for the front mounted winch.

Interior shot lifted from the Tech Manual:

Finished interior from the Mack Model:

(* The vacuum motors for powering the windshield wipers are actually shock absorbers taken from the Italeri small Horch field car kit out of my spares box. The gauge panel, steering wheel and the first aid kit are from the Dragon Wagon kit as are the many control levers in the cab. The seats are out of the Tamiya Deuce and a Half, one narrowed for the driver and one lengthened for the front passengers, so is the glove box door. Finally the gun ring is made up from three of the after market Tamiya kits for their Deuce and a Half. ;-)
