Not much of a kit is it Don? Looks like almost half of it is finished.
Where's the box? Looks started to me.

Don't gotta do anything. Just because we said that any kit that looks like a JEEP, smells like a JEEP, and goes together like a JEEP says it all, it DOES have to be a kit.
Others have spent money too like what is to be expected but, we do have 11 days 'till it starts, so I'll let Gary decide this.

The devil is in the details. My kit is unstarted, I can repost another photo with the blister box the kit came in. This kit comes as a big resin casting alsong with other resin and metal parts. Let me know if I'm in or not. I spent $1 US on it so I hope it wasn't money wasted.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

I am posting another photo, this time with the box. I believe I am compliant with Rules 1-5 of the campaign. I don't know, it looks like a jeep to me. Let me know if I'm in.
Thanks,

I had issues with it long before you had replied so don't worry about it.
Since it's such a low part count kit we'll give him an hour to finish while the rest of us have 6 months.

Thanks for letting me in. The rate I build I'm going to need the whole 6 months.
Take care,

Ok! 10 days to go till I have to venture out to purchase a newspaper and open the box to start my favorite part of modeling (sanding) and cutting plastic.

Ah, no need to buy a paper for the start of my Campaigns.
It's honesty that counts.

I might hop in to this one after the New Year. I have to see how 2013 shapes up. I might go civilian this time around. Maybe Tamiya's Wrangler. If I can find the old Monogram CJ-7, I might try to kitbash it into a CJ-8 Scrambler.

I've had a few Jeeps over the years, including a couple of CJ-8s.
Back in the 90s I tried to convert the Monogram kit to a Scrambler. I actually had a real one at the time. I ended up selling the real one and put the model project on hold. I hadn't taken any measurements or pictures of it for reference. I don't have a clue what happened to the kits I was using. I quit the hobby in the mid 90s and got rid of a bunch of my stash. I think they got thrown out or given away in a purge.
Anyway, I'll try to do a CJ-7, CJ-8, or a Wrangler. It depends on what's available, time, etc. A back-up plan will probably be a Tamiya Willys Jeep.

I'm in. I've got the SAS Commando kit (All Willy's parts present) - and the Willy's and MUTT kits en route from the states. Now I just have to decide which kit to build...

I'm going with the newer Hasegawa kit for this one. Not much of a plan, just pile on the weapons and gear until it looks right. I'm leaning towards a depicting a Jeep and trailer in one of two ways.
First, in a "command Jeep" configuration. This would have quite a bit of officer's gear, radios and more rear echelon pieces than the average Jeep. The second idea is for more of a "resupply Jeep" loaded down with weapons, gear, food and ammo. Either one would be a fun build so I'm not quite sure which way I'll go.

I'll be using a PE Station for the first time on my DRAGON Battle of the Bulge Armored 'TRUCK' in 1/24th scale.

Just put the Bronco Jeep on pre-order at Dragon USA, now all they have to do is release the thing... if all else fails I'll dig out the old-new Tamiya jeep, the one without the trailer.

I've decided to do a small diorama, one that can be placed on my desk at work from the Battle of Okinawa, seems fitting as I'm stationed here currently. Tamiya Willy's, and some stuff from Verlinden, and a few other odds and ends here and there. We'll see how it turns out!

That really sounds interesting Gil and welcome to ARMORAMA and for enlisting in the JEEP Campaign too!
Really looking forward to your build and to this Wheeled Campaign next Thursday.

Welcome Gil, and a deep thanks for your service. Hope you have fun here as there is much to see and take part in. Oh, and good luck on the PE Jeff, I've never gotten the hang of using my PE bender so mostly I just use it to destroy perfectly good PE sets.
