Sorry for no updates I have run into a problem. To glue the top to the bottom you only have a 1/16 of area to glue to and I have a fit problem and have to shave off the fenders the same to keep it centered, and I just brok off one of the fenders so anothr set back. I think I have come up with a solution, we shall see

Color: 4BO green.

Building: not yet. Sister's wedding has taken up all of my life. Sunday is the first day I may get a chance. Sorry to hear there are more issues. I look forward to the challenge though.

Greetings from Russia! I took part in one group-biuld at one of our sites with this machine and decided to watch for this forum. It can be useful for my building. If I'm right, the foto shows us few machines going to the Red Square to take part in parade or going off the square after it. It is year 1965, the 7'th of november. Parade in honour of Great October Revolution.

Some interesting: there is a shop on the background and there is written "Gifts")))

Now I'm trying to get money to order the kit.

Jim, this is November 7, 1967. This is the first public demonstration of the object 821.
From 1965 to 1967 shows an object 820.

Your model is the object 821.

I would love to make an interior, But information is very liminted on this subject. And the windows on the front are small, unlelss I open a door. The engine area has Alot of PE screen so an engine might be able to be seen when the launcher is raised. but again no information.

Jim, here is a link about building a paper model: http://only-paper.ru/forum/84-6992-1
You'll find a lot of photos and some videos there. There is also one man who drived similar machine once or twice and he wrote some about interior. I'll try to translate this information later, technical terms are too difficult for me...
But while I read a dictionary you can see a video at page 27 there from 20:55 to 20:35 - the interior shown little bit...

As for me, I'm going to show it very simply, because the windows are too large and you must see something inside, not only black walls... Greatly, if the doors would be open (it was hot sometimes inside and they were opened then), but it's few information and none of photos of interior to make it so realistic.

The first part of information about interior and even exterior. As I saw, the front hydraulic jack is not realized under the machine. It took part at it's lifting before rocket launch with rear jacks. Here is a photo:

As you see, it was behind driver and commander. Driver's seat was connected with the floor and commander's seat could be arised to come into. My picture, it'snot very good, but I think, you'll understand:

Sorry been under the weather for a couple of days, I have seen in one picture that has what looks like 2 landing plates like in your drawing, there would have to be 2 rams to lower? That is a lot of weight to support and I have stoped glueing the top and bottom toghter until figure it out, you should be able to see them from the front windows I have to look carefully at the pictures I have.
