Looks nice, Keith. The tracks looks suspiciously clean, but I assume that is the next step of the process.

Gents,
Here is my progress, my MKIII is ready for paint.
I have removes tools from the engine deck (I don't think Dieppe Churchills had them stowed there), thinned the armour plates on the inner sides of tracks at the front, relocated fire extinguishers (from engine deck to turret sides), added turret stowage box mounting points, deleted flags? stowage tube from the side of the turret, drilled out the MGs muzzles, added waterproofing canvas below the vents on the rear and replaced exhausts 'straps' with aluminum foil.
Ready for paint:
And components brakedown before painting:
Cheers,
Greg

Here is my old venerable Matchbox Churchill bridgelayer. Construction is finsihed. It was a b***ch and the overall fit was poor. Unusual for matchbox kits actually.
I used copper wire for the rigging of the bridge. That was a mistake by me. I should have used fishing wire instead. Now I know for the next project.
Next is painting, decals and weathering. More to follow.

Thanks for the comment, Sascha. I am semi satisfied with the rigging, so I am considering to replace it after the campaign. There will not be time before.
This one is coming down to the wire for me.
Here is the Churchill - nearly finished. Just some final weathering and it is done.
More to follow soon.

Beautiful build, Tom. Very clean and nice build.
Here is my finished Matchbox 1/72 Churchill bridgelayer. A nice kit, but the fit is not that good especially around the track guards.
I did not do the kit any services by using copper wire instead of fishing line for rigging the bridge. I never managed to get the copper line to have tension and stay 100% straight.
Comments welcome
