Howdy Everyone
Recently more manufactures are beginning to release more Canadian model kits or at least give us the option of Canadian markings in the kits. With this in mind I was think of a Canadian Forces campaign.
The Rules:
The kit has to be used by either CF, RCN, RCAF. Now this doesn't mean built in Canada, but marked for Canadian Service. Sherman's with Canadian markings, RG-31 in CF markings, CF-18 etc...
Any scale can be built
Date July 1st 2013 to December 1st 2013.
I think that's all folks. let me know who's interested eh.

This would likely be a hit in Aeroscale and likely also in Model Shipwrights. Perhaps it could be opened to a Kitmaker-wide campaign similar to the Osprey Duel and Ancient Airfix campaigns?
We posted those in the Modeling in General forum so that everyone could see the threads regardless of their "home" site.
I'd probably be up to doing something with Maple Leaves on the wings

Oh yeah ships, I just bought the HMS Eskimo, and plan on converting it to the HMCS Haida. Thanks for the great idea Jessica.

The whole idea of this campaign is model all aspects of the Canadian Forces. From the Army to the Navy, so I would be willing to open this up to everyone.

It is in the original post, that it is open to all branches of the service. Being the armorama is my home I thought the right place was to post it here

I would be in for this one with a CF-18!

trackjam have it on their website. It is made by Elite and will run you $105 CDN. I think you could modify the Revel G-wagen for a third of the price

I'm interested, whether or not I finish something will be another problem...
Too bad no plastic love for the Iltis or proper Canadian G-Wagen (would be very hard to make an Iltis from a G-Wagen I think!)
And it's Canadian ARMED Forces once again!

So it appears that the majority of builders have signed up for armour builds, and advertisement has been placed in general and on ship wrights and aeroscale. So this will be an open campaign, aircraft modelers and ship builders will be welcome but I believe that it makes the most sense to keep it on armorama cheers everyone
