Well, made some more progress on the beast.

I am deliberately dragging my feet on this one!

Kinda waiting on the E.T. Model tires and wheels to get here!

The thought is I'll paint them up to give me a boost of enthusiasm!

Yes, another unfinished project. The thought was to get it down from the shelf and I would finish it.

So far that hasn't worked.

Worked a lot on the Grad today while watching a couple of races... including the F1 race from this morning. Drive train and leaf springs have been added as I can't wait to get to some body pieces.

Now I need to clean up the work area and take some pictures!

The 1/16 Panther is just about ready for the camo paint. Then add the tools and various other hull items, install the electronics that have already been binded with a new radio then decide what markings to go with as I have bought a BUNCH of decals trying to decide along the way.

This is as far as she gets for now! My eyes are shot and it's getting close to retiring for the evening.

Saw this one and really liked the idea. So for my return to modeling, I'm going to do a MRAP style Humvee w/ the old Italeri Desert Patrol in 1:35. Lot's o scratch building in my future.
Pic's to follow (after I dig thru these boxes to find it...)

And some pic's...

One of my sons apparently started this and glued a few parts of the frame together. I have to cut them apart to make my lifted version anyway, so I don't think it should be an issue.

Hello...

I'm making progress on my MAZ (these images were published in the review I wrote).
Some update will be coming soon as I finally managed to get some decals printed.

Haven't updated in a bit....since I put down the base paint on the truck cab and fenders.

I had gone back and forth on what I was going to do with the bed. I ended up just going with a flatbed. I had an old Bedford truck bed in the spares and the front from an old Heller deuce and half. I dressed up the side edges of the bed and added the bed rear, again from the old Heller kit.

I added the fuel tank.

I added the bulkhead of the bed. I messed up and I had to add a piece of styrene to the driver's side edge. I tried to get fancy and it didn't work so I had to fix it. I found a storage box for the other side. I think it was part of the old Bedford kit as well.

Added tie-down clasps to the bed and added bracing to the bulkhead.

Bed done, off to paint. More of my pale yellow. In real life the color is a pale yellow, similar to a color often seen on Studebaker vehicles. In the pictures, it looks more yellow.

After the paint properly dries, I'll add a company name to the doors. I figure this is a former Army truck pressed in to post-war construction company. I'll add a bit of wear and such and then I think it should be about done. I might add some construction supplies; pipe, lumber, bas of cement, etc.

Hi guys!

Wow! Great models so far! I hope mine will be as good as yours.

Here is my entry: A Bronco's Buffalo with Voyager's PE sets and SKP lenses:

Now, the kit is in the wather w/ soap to remove all the mold release agent.

Cheers!

I got the truck together and performed some of the wash and dry-brushing. I've still got to find some letters for a company logo for each door. And find some construction cargo to maybe put on the flatbed. Other than that, it's basically done.

Hi people!

First of all, I would like to thanks Guido Adorno because his Buffalo is fantastic and it was inspirational for me.

I started it yesterday. So far I did the suspention and add some details to the chassis.

It is my first Bronco model and I like it.

Here are the photos:

Cheers!

Hi people!

A little update:

A mostly finnished the suspentions.

The rear suspention is a nigthmare. It has almost 70 pieces and get the correct aligniment is hard, but at the end it looks great!

Now I'm thinking about the brake chambers and their armor plates.

Can you help me? Is there squared front brakes armor?

Here are the pics:

Cheers!

Hi guys!

Nice work Alvaro!

Some update on my Buffalo:

I finished the under part of the beast. I used my son's guitar strings as air hoses.

I started the interior. I made a new stash to put over the AC cabinet.

Here the pics:

I hope you like.

Cheers!
