I wanted to get it last month but I got a new government tax for house owners ( they keep inventing taxes ) so all the money I was saving for plastic ( New Trumpy T-80's ).. well it's gone.
I'm hoping to get it before the Summer, let's see if they don't invent a Summer Tax or End of Spring Tax..
My Wishlist can't keep up with my wallet, or is it the other way around !?

Just enlisted with Revell's Kenworth T900 'Australia' truck. Got an 'Ice Road Truckers' rig in mind for this, with the long range tanks etc on the Aussie version.

Hello everybody,
My name is Vittorio, I'm from Firenze Italy, and this is my first post for my first campaign.
Just to add the link to my Extreme Trucks! Campaign gallery: https://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/29124
This is the subject I'll try do do:
The truck is a Zis-6 Truck by PST (Kit 72019), the gun is 10.5cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18 le.F.H.18/18M by Ace (Kit 72216), which I added a German 105mm barrel for LeFH 18 & "Wespe" by Aber (Kit 72L055).
1/72 naturally ;o)
Any suggestion is welcome.
Have good time
Vittorio

Welcome Vittorio!
Here another update of my Buffalo.
I finished the interior assembly and painted most of the base colors. I used Vallejo Nato Green, that I will use to paint the exterior part, light ruber, red and deck tan automotive paint to fabric part.
Now, lots of little detais to paint and after that, I'll start the weathering.
Here the pics, hope you like.
Cheers!

Were you referring to me Alex? I finally decided to use the tires/wheels I got from ET Models. At first I wasn't too happy with them but realized they were not too bad.
I'm just sold on the whole sagged tire look but I convinced myself that fully inflated these tires didn't have too much sidewall flex. I will get some for my MAZ 543 Scud Launcher though. Now that is an EXTREME TRUCK! LOL
So, this weekend I hope to get back at it. If I can quit drooling over everybody's elses work that is!

I was curious about that Jeff. Are the kit's tires that bad? I assume they are standard Trumpy vinyl types. Anyway, I'm curious about the BM21 as a build so I'm kind of keeping an eye on how yours goes.

Alex, it's just my opinion that if there is a resin replacement tire/wheel combo... GET 'EM!
Resin (or even styrene tires) are so much easier to paint and weather.
I am a BIG supporter of the sagged look, vinyl tires cannot do that.
I WAS hoping that the ET Model product I bought was like this, but according to some of the Grad pictures on the Net there isn't a whole lot of sagging going on there.
So they will do for this vehicle.

Oh boy. Sniped the pour blocks off and used a coarse rat tailed file to clean them up.
I chose 5 minute epoxy to glue them to the axles... man, watching the toe and camber was a choir in itself! After they dried I saw the need to weigh the back end down and heat the suspension some so that ALL tires touched the surface!
And after all the chit-chat on sagged tires, when these were installed I did finally notice one thing...
... THESE ARE SAGGED with BULGED SIDEWALLS! LOL! (oh well, my bad)
Jeff

Kenny is complete.....a bit different from my usual muscle cars. Even SWMBO likes this one!
Photos in the campaign gallery:
BTW- I know I've painted it a different colour from the kit instructions, but I prefer blue (Ford, from a rattlecan) to the mud colour in Revell's kit.
