Thanks Paul !!!
I guess my unusual build method of turret-hull-running gear paid off, I managed to finish it and it looked like a DAK Panzer
Thanks for another terrific Campaign Paul !!!

Onward for the final push! Redid the top with PVA, water and sand mixed with the same pigment I used to shade the tank. Added some rocks from the fish tank and some shrubbery.
Sorry bad photo's again... it was getting late, might even see some of the wet PVA glue! Funny that the photos show areas the paint missed on the rocks, doesn't look so noticable in real life... I'll need to go back and do some touch ups.

Ben, great looking tank and figures. Well done!

OK, calling this one done. I may do a few more tweeks later like a tank commander figure, but for the moment all my figures (like many of my modelling supplies) are in storage back in the U.S.
Great campaign, some really nice builds, and a good time. Thank you for putting it on!

You've just made my day with the IIIs! Congratulations ... very nice work!
Benjamin,
What did you use for the shrubbery?

Thanks Paul. You're right, but since all the chaos of moving I'm just happy to get my first kit "post-move" done. Thanks for a great campaign!

Most of the shrubbery comes from the local hobby shop, which I stubbled upon by accident. Turns out that a local guy just started making them and the hobby shop owner said they have been extremely popular.
The name on the packet is "Leadbear's Tufts", they costed AU$9 and you get about 40 big tufts and 80 little tufts in a packet. They are self adhesive and got to say I am impressed with them.
The packet doesn't have any contact details, email or web address... but I could ask the hobby shop owner though next time I am there.
Some of the green stuff in amongst the rocks is just some algae that I pulled out of my fish tank... lol.

Hello, I think my model is finnished.
Here some pics of my last progress.
Thank you for this campaign and congratulations for all the participants for their nice models and diorama.
Replace the side mirrors with Legend Productions products.
In comparison, with Italeri part on the left, wrong shape and overscale.
The internal face of the canvas with handset.
I replace the MK19 with Live Resin one.
Here the result:
I have thought to simply put the wheel on the roof like on this photo. The wheel doesn't seems to be secure with a strap.
I have built the belts of the backpacks. Both of them are from Legend Productions.
According some pics the belts are put through the oblong holes of armor panels.
I replace the exhaust pipe with Tamiya one. The mesh is more realistic.
I used DEF model marking for ammunitions boxes

Dear Paul, Dear All,
I'm going on with my little Lorraine 37L, under construction but nearly finished:
Found some small mistakes in the instruction drawings, easy to correct and go ahead...
Finished the hull and then proceed to the painting workshop:
It is very important to have reference pictures of the real thing. Added some details:
According to the production schedule, I'll finish during the next weekend.
Regards
Giovanni

Alex, very nice finish , you put a lot into that little build and it looks great . Keep em coming dude.
Lap Man, great progress not much more to do now .
I love the hull colour, what is it?
Giovanni, Looking good there, a fast and tidy build .
That work bench is no go though , it's way too tidy .
O.K lads Sunday midday will be the deadline, then I'll get the awards on the way to all who have survived the heat and made it through the desert . Don't forget to get your pics in the gallery .

CRAZY, but TRUE. I work on my kit night time !
My kits follow me everywhere...
yes, my real workbench at home is a mess...

Hi Paul Thank you for comments.
The Italeri kit is really a basic kit. And the new parts of the kit are not better than the others. I think the mention "fully upgraded moulds" on the box is a bit exaggerated.
I have put some pics on my finished model in my own gallery.
http://photos.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=49704
If I have understood I have to put them also in the gallery you are talking about.
