Any tank used during Stalin's lifetime. That should keep it interesting
Ok !
Can you change that into the Campaign rules & regulations ?

Has anyone built the Zvezda SU-100? Is it a rebox of the Dragon kit? I know the tracks will be putrid, but I've got a spare set of old Dragon T-34 tracks to use instead.

I did Alex.
Maybe 4 yrs ago... I can't remember that much, but the tracks aren't great, also a metal gun barrel would be nice.
It was quite nice for it's price, at the time there was no Premium Dragon kit..
It's not a trash bin kit, you can turn it into a real nice kit.
I'll try to find an old photo..
Edit:
As you can see I tried to add my own engine grill with mesh wire
The other photo is too blurry.
When I finish my builds I store them at another house a few miles from where I'm living so no more photos..sorry.

Thanks John.
I've checked out some of the reviews for the Dragon and Zvezda SU-100s. I figured the tracks would be the weakest part of the Zvezda kit, but I have a set of tracks leftover from the CyberHobby T-34-85m. I can get the Zvezda kit for about $20 so I might give it a try. I might try the Dragon SU-85m later on.

Are there any prices or sprue shots out there yet?
To stay on topic..I have enlisted too - Decided it was a good opportunity to grab myself a T-34 finally, now..which one...

I'm thinking... why not? Since I am a glutton for punishment these days!
Speaking of punishment... I just "installed" all of the clear periscopes on my E-50!
WTF!
Was that really necessary for them to be so dang small? I felt like I had to arrange a trapeze net underneath me just to keep from loosing any.
But I didn't.

If you do that build Jeff, then be sure to add those little grey men with the big heads to go with it.

You could always make some of Stalin's legendary ape-man hybrid soldiers as accompanying infantry. I'm not sure where you would hang the tire swing.
As an aside, I ordered the Zvezda SU-100 and it should be here by week's end.

Thank you Antonio. I've got the kit and I'm not that impressed with it. If I didn't have the extra track set I'd probably shelf-it and go with something else. I think I have some leftovers from other T-34 kits so there might be some goodies in there I can use.

speaking of T34 kits... what is the consensus on the "best" all around T34 kit? (1943 and earlier)
