Hi guys!
Just enlisted although I have other campaigns going on at same time..
This would be my entry, hopefully it's okay? It's Trumpeter early "Big Turret" KV-2 with Jordi Rubio barrel, Friul-tracks and some Eduard PE parts. This monster's been on shelf for two years and I think it's now time to finish it.

Great work going on everyone.
Sal well done and look forward to the finale
Kimmo - welcome to the campaign and excellent choice to finish here
I was able to get both twins to sleep and the wife to work for a super fast spray paint job on the 1/48 su76i. The rest I can finish in the house now

Nice to see that juggling twins there's still room for modeling Greg. Too many make it an excuse but you're trackin' forward with the SU-76i.

Greg,
Nice looking SU76i, way to go. Can't wait to see the final tank. I need to get back to work on my T-34. I want to put some figures on the T-34 when it's finished. The figures will be for the "Boots on the Ground" campaign.
Thanks for the pics.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Hey Jeff, of course it is 1:35, it is a Tamiya IS-3, they spell it JS though, PE is from Eduard, set no. 36042. It updates a tank from the pre production batch of 52 IS-3s as depicted by Tamiya to an early production one. HTH

Finally the Tracks have arrived to say the least they are Scary small little pieces but if they turn out better than the rubber band tracks it will have been worth it. well of to the grind.

Greg,
You made that cut so clean, wow, I know it couldn't have been as easy at you made that look and the fit on the PE parts you'd think you cut the plastic with a laser too. nice going! BTW, how do you end up with my name as a call sign?

I know, right? I was talking mess about you and then built a Sherman in 3 days
Rick, I gotta tell you, your build has inspired me to buy a orange box T-34/85. I've always liked the T-34, but in particular the really early ones and the really late ones like the ones that fought in Korea. I'm hoping to build mine as a Korean wreck either here or in the rusty/scrap metal campaign.
Your primer almost looks like a base coat of paint, is that just the camera playing tricks on the color?
My A2 is going to have to sit for a little while as I have some deadlines coming up in the Canadian forces and commonwealth thunder campaigns. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have a chance to put those snazzy Berlin battle stripes on the turret.

Pedro, thx for your kind words, the cut was made by scribing several times with a hobby knife along the line that was molded on the hull side, can't miss it. As to the PE, it does fit amazingly well, on the other hand the side part overlaps the leftover hull side so this also helps.
As to my nickname, well... It's a primary school one that stuck. We have a brand of coffee since the 90's that is called "Pedro's" with a Mexican (Hispanic?) guy in it's logo... I look nothing like him but guys in my class thought it will be funny or sth, it was not offensive so it kinda stayed
Right now I'm cutting out one more ventilation slot on the last set of louvers on the hull deck, one done, one to go...
Cheers,
Greg

Love seeing what everyone's doing with their builds so far. Had to take a few days off myself to nurse my wife who has been having tooth and lower jaw issues the last few days. She's good and doped up at the moment so that gave me a little time to get some work done on the tracks and wheels today. I would like opinions on whether or not the flag looks like it is in scale or not. I will use diluted white glue to affix it but I would like other eyes on it before I do.

Fixed a few boo-boos and now I am declaring this one done. I enjoyed this kit. It really needed the replacement tracks, though. I don't think I would buy a separate track set like Fruils. The cost just doesn't justify it.
I'll give it a few days before picking a few shots to upload in to the campaign gallery.
