@Dave-- It is pretty cool that Conor got a silver. It was nice to see after all the improvement he showed during his time on armorama. You can really see the difference in his work.
@Conor- I have never used the Magicsculpt stuff before but I have read about a lot of people using it so thought I would give it a go. I have always used plumbers epoxy putty.
@Charles-thanks for the kind words about the dios buddy!

Sorry about the delay in this project.
Heavy casualties have been taken getting across the field to the sanitorium and the assault group needs time to reform.

The camo pattern on the jackets and trousers is excellent Jerry.
Well done !

Personally i would make the hand en fingers of his mate who is trying to stop the bleeding a little bit bloody , if you know what i mean.

But okay it's your choice

Hi Jerry,

Love this figure group (the same Ryan is using in his Berlin dio, isn't it)!!
Great show! Camo is spot on as usual. Faces, slings, gear, everything in "Jerry quality".

The only thing bothering me a little is the thin layer of material the guy is pressing onto the wound. If you have/want to stop bleeding, you need a lot more substance. Or maybe the photo is just giving a wrong impression!??!?

Cheers

Romain

Hi Jerry - an interesting attribute of your figures is that you've got the subtle transition in colors nailed (on the skin), in addition to the overall quality - I also like the little "D" ring you can see near the upper guy's shoulder - little touch, but looks real.

As always, waiting to see next episode -

Thanks guys for the nice comments and for checking in here. Karl is correct though and I just put this old vignette up because I haven't had the time or motivation to work on this stuff lately.
So I suppose the only casualty here has been my passion? But I'm sure all here get into a "lack of mojo" once in a while?

If it's any boost to your mojo, I'd just like to point out that I'm ALWAYS going back to the build log of that vignette for inspiration or help throughout the thread. I always seem to lose interest in modeling for a month or two at any given point in the year, but I always seem to come back into things strongly. I guess it's good to let things cool off for a bit. Every time I get back into things after a "break" I seem to get things done a bit more precisely, or accomplish things with a more advanced look than I did when I stopped.

Your mojo will be back. After all, the German army was always notorious for striking back, and I'm sure your kampfgruppe with jump back into the fray when we're least expecting it...

Hi m8,
Conor is right as stepping back and retruning to the task can sharpen your senses and give even better results!

You still remain one of our top motivators here! So cheer up bro! Just put one brushstroke in front of the other!

I come home from hospital today....and go straight back to my workbench. Can't wait to get hold of my brush again!!!!

Cheers

Jerry,
I reckon once you get Duel in the Mist 3 in your hands things may change. That sort of thing always works with me.
Cheers,

Conor,Romain and Sean,
Thanks for looking in and for the kind words of encouragement buddies! Means a lot and I feel like a sniveling weasel as I remember the trials and tribulations that Romain is going through!!
My lack of mojo falls at about a minus 100 on a scale of 10 concerning his health status.
Conor you are correct,my Kampfgruppe will focus on a new schwerpunkt and reach the hauptziel,no matter the cost!
Romain,we are all happy to learn you are going home finally and eagery await your first long over due update on here.
Sean,I have the Duel in the Mist3 on pre-order so I know exactly what you mean. Hope it gets here for my birthday in 4 days. But it's getting too warm to work on Ardennes dios now. Maybe back to Normandy? Or the western desert?
Thanks again guys.

Hi Jerry,

thanks for the good wishes m8!

I am not yet ready to start posting the HUE thread, but it should not be too long before I begin!
Progress is unfortunately very slow (due to my condition obviously) but we are slowly coming around!

Until then all the best

Cheers

I like the idea of a Normandy diorama...Would be nice considering it'll be the 70th anniversary. I'm tempted to dig into my Tiger and Hohenstaufen figures... Ohhh how I wish I didn't have a both of those kits in my waiting pile (I wouldn't call it a stash so much as a stack of kits blocking my closet).

But I digress, Normandy would be cool But like Kurt said, no hurry.

I know I'm a few hours early Jerry, but happy Birthday my friend from the Interweb

Hope your health improves and you get your MOJO back. I've lost my own at the moment it seems, but i am on the way to finding it again. I was able to spend almost 15 minutes modeling tonight before frustration and tiredness crept in.

have a great Birthday.

Romain,Kurt,Conor and Dave,
Thanks for weighing in with the nice comments. I am pretty much caught up with the large"honey do" list so I will get back to the bench shortly. Now.....to find the missing mojo.
Thanks for the B Day wishes Dave. I am still hoping to get my pre-ordered newest book in the "Duel in the Mist" series delivered for my B Day which means...IT BETTER GET HERE TODAY!!!
LOL All good things are worth the wait.
As for Normandy I am thinking a few scenes from the reserve troops in the Boise Cinglais,IE LSSAH or also a nice vignette with the Glasgow Highlanders during Operation "Epsom"??
So many possibilities.

Thanks guys!! I had a great day for the b day. Bad weather but it didn't matter. It never rains in the Army. It rains ON the Army!
Seriously I had a great day. No Duel in the Mist yet. Maybe I should call them?

Hi Jerry - happy late birthday! Now, if you could just work on sending some of that rain out west - right now it doesn't rain in or on California and we could use it!
Best regards

That's what I told him when his carport decided to eat his cars, send the rain and snow to Cali!

Thanks guys! Yes,rain rain and more rain. Almost 5 inches yesterday! Parts of Philadelphia are under water. Well...it is April! Oh wait,no it isn't today!
Be happy to ship some H2O out to the left coast.
Called Panzerwrecks yesterday. The shipment of books was held up by the mighty Customs agents for"inspection". So my Duel in the Mist will not be here for about another week?
Meanwhile,I have a special order figgie to build for John Hoenig so it may be the kick in my shorts that I need to start building again.
