Thanks for the update Jason, I think the sharpie is not that much of a problem if you'll use acrylic paint over the primer, as the primer already bonded with the sharpie and acrylic paint will not dissolve the lacquer primer..
Cheers,
Greg

Anyone had problems with turret bustle clearance over the exhausts? My turret can't clear the exhaust stack, either the turret is a couple mm to low or the exhaust is too high.

I do not know what Black label means but in whisky, it's supposed to be premium. Why then do they lack basic details like the one you mentioned. Looks to me like they did not do much on the detailing side, the sprockets lacking the lightening holes.

YEs, I did. I sanded the exhaust stack/shroud thing and also the bottom of the turret on the sides.

I was really hoping I messed something up on my build, I didn't want to add another nail to the M103's coffin...

I originally thought it was due to mine being warped, but Vodnik confirmed it.

Latest issue...the exhaust shroud on the rear engine deck is too tall. It hits the rear bottom of the turret so bad that you cannot put the turret facing forward. I removed the shroud completely and will have to do some serious sanding.
I think the issue is not with the shroud but with the shape of the lower turret. It sags down at the sides too much. It should be flat all the way across. as the shroud has plenty of clearance when the turret sits centered. I am going to slightly modify the turret but cutting and lifting the sides to clear the shroud when turning.
