Hi guys!
Thanks a lot Michael! I hope one day I can build planes. They are very hard for me.
BTW, everybody here is building great models. I love IDF stuff.
Cheers!

I like the "bad girl" Marco, good job.
Mihcael, do you feel lonely, build the only wingy thing? Looks good.
I got some man-time this weekend, finally.....
Figs are in, although I found out I need to fix "Pointing Man's" helmet color, my mistake but easy to correct.
All that's really left to do is add the 50 cal and the two oil cans, all of which is about ready, then neaten-up the base.

Very nice work indeed!
Russel: I don't mind so much, I like to shake things up a bit (like the IAF!)

Very good!
Come to think of it, the last time I heard a sonic boom was in Israel. I'd forgotten what they sounded like and I jumped a good foot straight up in the air.
So, erl cans are on, tied down and dusted. All that's left, as far as I know, is to get some good pics and I can move on to the next one.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Texan language, "erl" is loosely translated as any petroleum product, byproduct or derivative, can also be applied to vegetable products, as in "olive erl".

Great job Russel.
Here is where I am with my Merkava 3.
The weathering is not done yet. The MGs and width poles will be added later to avoid breakage.

Centurion progress… inching forward...

Annoyingly, I can see some nasty seams on the smoke dischargers that I should remove.
More progress to report soon, I hope.
Cheers

Nice Cent.
Yes you should remove those seam lines on the smoke dischargers as this is not too late.
I am surprised by the position of the exhaust ends. Usually they sit horizontal but perhaps the Israelis modified this.

Olivier, you got me worried there about the exhausts…. But having checked the instructions, I can say they are installed as directed. But then, instructions are never 100% correct. So I went to the internet to find pictures to support the vertical installation. Worryingly I found nothing explicitly conclusive. But then, the pictures below (over which I claim no copyright) suggest that the IDF did indeed install the exhausts vertically...

Olivier, by the way, I like your Merkava 3 - very nice.
Cheers

Hi guys, went one step forward with my Achzarit. Upper hull weathering is almost done. Next step the sides and lower hull.

Very nice work here!
Got both shades of ghost gray on the F-15:

My biggest beef with IAF F-15s is that they've never adopted the Mod-Eagle scheme and it's very difficult to tell the two Ghost Gray shades apart either while you're painting or after.
Gloss coat for all those stencil decals next!

Thanks for the comment about my Merkava Matthew. Concerning the exhausts, here is a picture showing the horizontal exhaust.
