This looks really great, Sean! A tedious build, by any means!

Cheers,
Cristian

Thanks Gents!
Some slow progress on washing & weathering

Now just to add all the gear, mirrors, more stowage, aerials, some packs, tow-bar, a few crates, spare wheel, some boxes and we’re done…. until the chains arrive. Still not even dispatched

Hello!
A bit of progress to report on the Zvezda BTR 70 in Afghanistan. The upper hull is pretty much there, I think. I need to weather the lower hull and wheels to get a better balance.

Hi guys!
Long time away... Sorry about it. My Boxer is done but I've had problems with my camera. I'll post some pics ASAP.
Matthew, fantastic effects on BTR, I loved the rust.
Sean, I'm still impressed with your patience to build this SMP.
Jiri, I'll buy one of this beast. So I'll follow your build for sure.
Karl, nice choice!
Cheers!

I haven't been posting for awhile in too many group builds at once. here is my progress on the Puma. The detail on this kit is great with the option of photo etch or plastic over several parts. I can't believe the same company would put out the Black Label line.

Yes, Thomas. It is a beautiful kit. I build it a couple of years ago and it is a breeze to build.
Looking forward to see your color scheme.

Thanks, Christian, I’ve been meaning to say how great your ASLAV looks.
Thanks, Tom, your Puma kit looks like a real a gem.
I think we all agree eight wheels have got to be better than four!

Thanks Matt, got some more progress on the Puma, the cammo is on now on to decals and weathering. Its the Panzer Lehr Division Normandy 1944. It was painted free hand.

I wanted to represent a rather faded cammo. We shall see how it comes out.

Well, building my Bradley for the 20 Bucks Campaign has reminded me how much I enjoy building armour, and how much easier it is that building aircraft

So I saw this campaign, remembered that I had the Trumpeter Centauro in the stash, and that it is the best looking AFV of all time (IMO of course

)

So here it is. I've already started and am well on the way with the suspension. Does anyone know of any resin replacements for the rubber tyres? I tried all the main UK modelling shops last night and couldn't find any...

well I made some more progress today, it doesn't look like much, but we are getting there, I will have some more pictures once I make progress on the crane and boom.

Here she is. I only took a few in process shots since it was pretty simple.

Putting some paint on it...

Dirty fingers

Enjoy,

I had to go through a lot of posts to see if I had posted my start picture. I have not so here it is from Mar 24

Just got the basic build finished and I'm ready to start shooting colour on the exterior. This kit has a LOT more parts than the Italeri Puma I remember.

Cool work, Dan! A orove that heavy weathering is not a must to achieve a great looking model.
Cheers,
Cristian

Hi all,
Some finished on this page. Very attractive, Matthew's BTR-70 and Dan's BRDM-2.
I start my kit today. Genuine 8x8 vehicle. Hope not too late to finish it.
