The tracks hang beautifully! I would have to say all your effort is well worth the end result.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments.

J the tracks are from MasterClub. Part number MC135002W. And no there isn't a lot for cleaning to do. A little resin flash here and there. I will take some pics of the remaining tracks and pins and post them for you.

Those links look to have nice, crisp moulding. Do the pins come on a sprue, or loose in a bag?

Thank you for sharing!

Hi Gaz,

The links are separate and the pins come in separate bags.

Thanks for taking the tie to post those pics of the links buddy. They look good and I am sold on getting a set or two. I have three Panthers in the stash and I have to say it is my favorite tank.

Chris,
The tracks really look the part. They fit in well with the rest of your fine rendition of wear and tear.

Cheers,

Gaz

Really nice build.
Did these have a wooden cover over the winch or was that another version with the wood box top. I've seen pics somewhere of what looked like sections of metal plates over the winch to, but was just open top the most common way they were fielded?

This one has the wood panels inside the box. But I am leaving them to the side so you can see the winch and interior.

Hello guys,

Sorry for the long absence. Life has been very busy for me as of late. The Panther had to be put aside for a bit.

But now we are back...

Its now down to putting all the "fiddley" bits on. The wood floor panels are painted and weathered. I will be leaving some of them on the rear deck and one or two sitting on the drop sides.

The drop side chains are attached and now need to be painted and weathered........

Can a moderator please change the title of this thread to BERGEPanther? From the German word bergen "to rescue." Thanks in advance.

VERY, VERY NICE, Chris!

Almost makes me want to dig out one of my spare Panther Ds out of my inventory, and start a BERGEpanther of my own! It's just that I have so many other projects going on my workbenches at the moment!

In any case, your BERGEpanther is an inspiration to us ALL!!! GREAT JOB!!!

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for the comments. I'm very happy that people are enjoying my build. It has been fun and challenging. Having issues trying to figure out what to work on after this build..... I have the Dragon Panzer 1 and Panzer 1 with the Sig 33 mounted...might give those a go lol.
