Hello all,
Sorry for the long absence. Life has been very very busy as of late. Haven't had any time to get to the hobby.
But now time has freed up and will be getting onto it. I have been painting the small final details for the Panther. I will post pictures when I get them finished.
Thanks to everyone who have continued to follow this build!

Hello guys,
Here are pictures of the finished kit. I know it has been quite a while since I last posted on this blog. She is all done and won me a third place at HeritageCon in Hamilton

If THIS got the third place, I wonder what got the first...a scratch built 1:1 Sherman? Seriously, this is a truly stunning representation of the Bergepanter. One could easily mistaken it for the real thing with a different backdrop.

The weathering is outstanding! Great job and congratulations on getting 3rd place(but I do have to say it should have gotten higher than that).

Thank you guys! I am really happy with it. This was my first attempt with MIG weathering products and paint. As for what took first place....It was a completely scratch built 1/72nd Italian tank with interior. It was stunning.
Maybe later I'll get some pictures with some kind of back drop. Also needing to put it on a little base.

Hello John!
You are correct! Living in the Great White North! We gotta have our Timmies! You should dig out one of your kits! This one was a really fun and challenging build. I really enjoyed it:)

Must have been some really stiff competition to have only pulled a third! Some great work there. You should take it to an AMPS judged event.

Thanks guys! My plan is to put it on a base. As I don’t enter contests very often anymore I’m not to sure of any AMPs contests around here. But maybe I’ll look into it.
