Tom,
For the most part, yes, but what do you have in mind? I'm usually pretty flexible on how we interpret the rules.

Tat,
A variation on the all-seeing eye like your first two actually wouldn't be a bad idea.

Here's a few more Mark:

Cheers,

Tat

I might give this a go. I do have a Bishop in my stash that I have been looking at recently.

Just checking if a Demon would crack it?

Linus, not familiar with the Demon, but I suppose if Gods and Demi-Gods are allowed then an demi-anti-god (is that even a word?) should be too.

What does everyone else think?

Sure, why not. We could use something to remind us there are other things besides AFVs out there...

Here's my chosen model ready to go for this campaign.

Planning on finishing my gun tractor for the Tamiya campaign before I start on this fellow as it looks like I may have bitten off quite a bit with this one. A freaking booklet for the instructions! Oh dear.

Iain,
I just finished building Bronco's Bishop for the 500+ Campaign. It was a long but very enjoyable build. You might want check your picture references if accuracy is important to you as the artwork for ammunition, color schemes and markings are a bit off based on equipment configurations shown.

Enjoy your build!

Given the apparent complexity of the model I think I may just build OOB and not worry too much about accuracy.

I also have a partially built Dragon Bishop that came without instructions so I may also take the chance to try and figure where the bits for that one are meant to go at the same time.

wow! Is it that time already? And here I was thinking I had a couple more months before we kicked off. Guess I better hustle and find myself a kit soon!

Mark,

Titans were second-order deities in Greek Mythology, so would a build of the USAF Titan III qualify? I have a personal interest as my dad, while serving in USAF, was the PM for the 2nd stage motor, then later PM for both 2nd and 1st stage motors.

I have a kit of this vehicle somewhere in my hobby room.

I think the Titans of mythology fit the campaign description sufficiently, but I'm really going to allow it because I'm an old Space Command guy myself; although I worked more with the spacelift flavor of Titans, as opposed to the ICBM flavor your Dad worked on (Truth be told I was on the Atlas IIAS side of the house, rather than the Titan IV side).

Actually the Titan III was spacelift. One of the payloads he worked on was the delivery of 8 satelittes into equally-spaced geosynchronous orbit for military communications. You are thinking of the Titan II that was used to launch Gemini capsules, but main mission was as an ICBM.

You mention the Atlas program. My dad also worked on Atlas back in early 60s at the Rocket Site on Edwards AFB. I got to watch Atlas burns from our kitchen window of base quarters 25 miles across Muroc Dry Lake!

I will have to find where I 'hid' the kit.

You are quite right. Guess that shows either how long I've been out of the business, how close I am to senility, or both. Of course, the Titan IIIs had already been retired by the time I got to Vandy-land.

While watching The Expanse and waiting for my gun tractor paint to dry I figured I would make a start. 216 track links and mumble mumble hours later I have this...

20 lots of 10 links, 2 lots of 7 links and 2 single links. Oh my poor fingers and eyes.

I love indy tracks, but they are tedious, aren't they?

Finally found a Priest in 1/35 for a reasonable price on evil-bay, so that's on the way. Hopefully it will be in decent shape when it arrives.

How are the links connected, by pressure, glue, pins?

Pins are moulded on the tracks so careful application of pressure fits them together so they are workable. Some are tad loose and require careful handling due to lack of care during cleanup.

Each link is quite small too, so it's hard work on the fingers.

Will a Mark I - V tank from WWI with a deity name work for this campaign?
