I was watching the news and there was a story that the DOJ is investigating whether the use of the Gadsen Flag



has racist implications. When will this happy horses**t end?

Then why the comment about your taxes and Big Brother? Paypal - a private company - is trying to cover their ass. What does that have to do with the government?

I strongly doubt the government gave/gives a [auto-censored] about any of this. I have done plenty in my day that caused paranoid people to say "Ohh, watch out, you'll get on a list!" I have had a "security clearance" for almost 25 years. It is re-investigated every five years. I have never had any of those "listable" events in my past come up in an investigation, and more importantly, it has never impacted my clearance. In other words, even if there was a list, apparently being on it makes absolutely no difference. To anything.

When people stop complaining about their real and imagined slights in such a way that the government isn't forced to at least look like they consider the complainant to be sane.

Well, from the start it is exploiting the image of the Snake People of Ancient Lemuria, who were the original settlers of North America back during the Pleistocene. It is obviously worse than the Washington Redskins mascot in it's blatant stereotyping of the serpentine races lack of limbs and innate angry disposition, i.e. readiness to strike at those who dare step on them. We are so arrogant, thinking ourselves better than the other beings we share this planet with just because they might only poop once a month, or have to sleep in a cave all winter, or need to migrate an eye to the same side of their face so they can swim flat on the sea floor. Those differences are what make us so great so anything depicting these differences as something negative is pure racism.
