Thanks Clayton and Chris!

I haven’t seen much activity around the campaign lately, so I thought I’d bore you guys with another M21 update. Most of the detail painting and decal application is done — got lucky with the louver star! ⭐️

Lately, I’ve been messing around with stowage options. Here's what I've come up with so far.

Legend, Value Gear, Verlinden, and misc. spare parts.

One of my Google searches turned-up an image of a half-track fighting compartment floor literally covered with boxes. ... More .50 cal. and C-Ration boxes on order!

Jerry Cans are painted and ready to attach.

Since I need to paint and install the figure into the cab before I can proceed to final assembly, the three main subs (chassis, cab, fighting compartment) are still only dry-fit. Still lots to do!

Hope everyone’s half-tracks are coming along!

Cheers!🍺

Looking Good Mike.

Been a busy couple of weekends. All I've managed to do was prime the 250/9. Will get paint down soon. Only 2 weeks to end of build... where can I ship the wife off to?

Thanks, guys!

@ Ken – The camo netting is from Value Gear — can't seem to recall which set. I'm still looking into it, since I'm curious myself. It's quite possible that Steve may have thrown it in as an extra.

Cheers!🍺

Time flies when you're having fun, and this Campaign has flown by- just 15 days left! Be sure to load your finished photos in the Gallery!!( https://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/30690 ) Only THREE have finished????
IF some folks needed an extension, ask now, we'll see what the powers that be allow!!

Sorry to hear it, Dustin, it's amazing how fast the darn calendar moves...I can't believe we're almost halfway through the year, and some of the campaigns I signed up for are suffering too!

I may need a week or two. Primed and pre-shading done and base colour hopefully today. Once the basic painting is done I need to add straps as well... running hard but the bungee (wife) is pulling me to chores.

Where I am at:

Base coat and camo down. Wheels have base coats too.

Aber screens seem to be a bit blocked by the primer, will have to attend to that - hopefully a sharp blade will fix them. Funny that the screens on the engine deck are fine....

⏰ Awesome! Thanks Clayton and the "powers that be!" I’m still gonna’ shoot for the original deadline for my M21, but as far as finishing the stowage … well, figure on another six months! Lol! 📦📦📦📦📦📦📦📦 …

@ Peter – Looking good in camo!

...👇 See what I mean! This is starting to feel like Jenga!

🔪 Modified stowage from Legend, Value Gear, Verlinden, and a few scratch-built items. Thought I'd do a quick tie-down test with Tamiya masking tape and strands of sewing thread. ✂️

Side rack stowage to follow soon. 📦📦📦 . . .

Cheers!🍺

Mike-Shaping up very nicely. Stowage looks good. Waiting on the weathering. The large yellow numbers really make the build stand out. Not something you see everyday and adds another point of visual interest to the blah OD.

Thanks, guys!

@ Armorsmith – Weathering will be somewhat restrained for now — at least for the campaign deadline. Later, I hope to plop the M21 onto a base with another vehicle and some figures. If all goes well, I'll meld everything together then. So keep a lookout for more OD and some Ardenne Forest muck down the road. 🌲🌲🌲

Thanks again for having a look!🍺

Nice builds guys! Good work on the louvre decal Mike -- I may be up for something like in another campaign.

Happy to hear about the extension, much appreciated. Here's my current state of affairs:

Ah, the benefit of taking photos --I just noticed that the exhaust / muffler has yet to be painted

Moving on to some weathering with oils.
