Alex, that's absolutely fine. IMO anything goes as long as the base kit, bulk of the vehicle is cat related.

Anxious to jump on board for this. It has been quite a while since I've done or found the time for much serious modeling, just the once in a while routine. I'm very anxious to get it going again. I've recently 'Retired' from Boeing after 28 yrs and finally can dedicate time to the hobby and relax, enjoy it like in the past. Missed out on Big Cats I -IV, but a good time back I did the "MEOW" Campaign on Armorama if anyone remembers back then. Anyway, I've got a good size 'stash' to catch up on, and the Dragon "Ardennes" King Tiger is calling my name, but so is the Panther G (Late). These decisions get tougher for us 'old guys', but I'll work on it. So count me in.
Really looking forward to being active on Armorama. Bring on the Campaigns!

I've selected my choice of big cat for this one.
It is either going to be built as '914' from Kursk, or (if I feel like doing a lot of conversion work and can find the photo) the ausf. D that eventually went to Breda as a monument.

Good choice Whiskey! I was deciding between the new Tamiya Panther and the Meng King Tiger. I'm going with the KT but looking forward to watching your Panther progress!

I'm in building the Mid Tiger from Rye Field.
I'm also working on a 1/16th Jagdtiger, just to change things up some. However the Jagdtiger is further along than %25 so it's an excuse to get the Rye Field kit also, that's my reasoning anyway. I just wanted the Rye Field kit without feeling bad about not building the backlog that's been sitting there for a while.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should try the hard edge ambush pattern w/o, buy the sim decals and do a soft edge cammo, or just do my own cammo on my KT. Any input?

I'm chomping at the bit too! Ordered the zimmerit decals for my King Tiger from Meng. I plan to do a vehicle from Panzer Abteilung 505.
Tojo, is that the kit that comes with additional PE roof armor? Looks like a great kit.

Did this Tamiya 1/48 'King Tiger' several years back for a "Tiny Tigers" Campaign. Thought I'd expand that into the 1/35 that I normally do and finally get to my 1/35 Dragon "KingTiger; Late Production- Ardennes". Plan on doing a s.SS Pz.Abt 501 KT in La Gleize. If time permits, I've got a JagdPanther just waiting for its' chance. Got everything ready to go and layed out for start tomorrow. Fire up your engines, it's "Kitty' time.
Here's what I'll be working on:

Very nice kit Anthony. Idk what I'm gonna build yet. Either a jag panther or a panther g. If I even have time. With my new schedule I have not been keeping up with campaigns at all. Sucks. I'm excited to get this campaign kicked off though. Should be a really good one. I hope everybody enjoys it also.

I'll be building the Testors' boxing of the Leopard 1a5 in 1/35 scale.
I got this kit as a gift from my father. He probably gave a few dollars for it. The box was ruined, but the sprues were sealed in their plastic bag. Instructions and decals were also ruined. This is an older Leo 1 kit...if I am going to build a sure enough Leo 1 I'll go with a newer kit. I'll be going with a what-if Leo 1.
The Leo 1a5 was noteworthy for its redesigned turret. One feature was this new turret's ability to mount the 120mm smoothbore gun and its firing system. As far as I know, except for test vehicles none were armed with the bigger gun. I'll be arming my Leo with a 120mm gun, an extra from a Hobby Boss Leo 2. And I'll probably add some sort of reactive armor.
Since it's what-if, I'll include a background story as the build progresses.

I just found this campaign (don't know how I missed it) lots of nice kits. I am trying to decide on either a Monogram F9F Panther or a Dragon JADGPANTHER that Sal sent me last year.

Managed to get the torsion arms on after work last night. Second pic is of the canted angle the arms sit at. This is a documented problem w this kit. I think I have a fix figured out. Should have some time Tuesday to work on it.
Nice work everyone!
