You are wrong there. I am building vehicles for the last few years. Aircraft's are my first love ....
Same here, Bogi! Started with planes, which I still build more than AFV's (mainly WW2 era) and in 2013 I layed my hands for the first time on a Leopard 2. So we can shake hands! The 2 paint brands I have mostly in use are Revell Aqua and Vallejo. Especially the spanish paint works perfect with my airbrush. The others I use from time to time are Gunze and Tamiya.
Thanks for the offer but I'm not really a fan of weathering as you can see on my Gripens. On my aircraft builds I prefer to do nothing and leave the work to the dust on the shelf of pride .... Even my AFV get only a bit of pastel chalk to give them a slightly dusty look like these guys. Don't want to ruin my models. So will my MAN. I still have a photo of my truck from the summer of 1987 or 1988 and it's just dusty. We took good care of the material. Okay, from time to time it was covered in mud after a day out in the training area ....
Richard, I have no hobby room and do all airbrushing in the kitchen, believe it or not. So I can work 365 days per year. And all the paint which doesn't go on the kit, goes on the old newspaper underneath. Okay, I only use acrylic paints. Never have used enamels with the airbrush, only with a hairy stick in my earlier days. White on my MAN is just the primer, the truck will get NATO Standard Camo.
