The Revell-Germany MAN 5T truck is going together very quickly! I'm almost ready to start priming and painting...

Thanks guys! It's proving to be a pretty fast build. Once I got the frame assembled it was downhill from there. All I've got left is a few detail pieces for the front of the cab then it will be time for priming and painting.
I'm going to try the hairspray technique on this one. NATO green base coat and UN White on top. After this week I'll be off work until January 2nd so I'll have a lot of time on my hands.
BTW, shameless plug for me own campaign, January 1st my combat engineer campaign, "Once More Unto the Breach" starts.

Hello, my enter for this campaign with an old Italeri kit (1995). Resin wheels are from Tank Workshop.

Gulfwarrior thank you ! Have a good build with your MAN truck.
I have made the 6x6 version a few years ago with a ring weapon mount from MR Modellbau, it is a nice kit.

Looks good! It may just be my imagination but it just seems like wheeled vehicles go together faster that their tracked counterparts!
I just finished priming my large sub-assemblies a few minutes ago. I’ve got to mount my smaller ones on a board and do those tomorrow. I may even ring in the new year with getting the base coat put on. I don’t have to go back to work until Jan 2nd and the wife says I’m already driving her crazy (though to be honest it’s not all that far of a trip! 🤪)

Well, a lot of work with this kit. A poor quality compared to current models, sink marks and joint lines all over.
Need a lot of putty and sand paper.
Details added on the interior of the cab.
Chassis with brass wire handles who replace the solid plastic ones and spring bumpers added
I have used some putty to complete the shape of the air tank.
Details added on those parts, stowage box, fuel tank, I add a fuel can (Academy) with new handle and a cap fastener added and rebuilt the holder directly on it, I have removed the holder from Italeri because too small.
Bolts added (Masterclub) on the little box who goes in front of the filter drum.

Thanks Peter. Holiday. Actually, I slowed down in last few days, trying to decide how to paint it. I went for this truck since this is the only German tree color camouflaged vehicle I saw in North Africa.
I am here now.
I have to tone everything down, to try to come closer to the look on the photo. Not sure how model will turnout at the and.
All the best in new year.

@Alex, do you happen to have any pictures of the bed of the truck? I can only find a couple and they are at funky angles so I can't really see the floor. It looks like the floor is wooden planks with maybe two or three steel reinforcing beams evenly spaced running parallel. Can you (or anyone else) confirm this?

Hello, I did not pay attention to that when I built the model, but I find top views who show steel frame and wooden planks.
Those pics are from this website

Superb build BogiBg. Another outstanding item for the collection.
Hi Alex. yes I have enlisted here, planning on doing an AFV club SdKfz 11/3 Nebelkraftwagen - the towing and resupply vehicle to accompany the Nebelwerfer ( I am building one for the Launcher campaign) . However a few other builds to finish first.
