Now it's the Commanders Cupola , The pin that the Hatch pivots on is too thin and doesn't hold the hatch level. I replaced it So.

There's a pin on the side that's not mentioned in the instructions, I'm not shure what goes there if anything.



Tomorrow I'll install it on the Turret, which is in the paint shop right now.

I'm not shure what this does, it mounts onto the Turret Ring under the Gun.


I added some wireing to the box , not shure it's correct but I think it looks good.


A little more painting needed here.

Test fitting the Turret Basket to the Hull

Be shure to install the thing with the wheels on it between the front basket supports before the Gun controls or you'll never get it in.


This is why

Install along with drive shafts.

That thing between the front basket supports sticks out past the Turret Ring . You can still get the turret on, it just makes removing it a little trickier.

You can't move it much as it mounts right to the Turret Ring.

Why not make some filter and wash effect ? That will make model more lively. You just paint and assemble without any special effect.

I never learned how, I build newer equipment.
It all starts out new, and usually doesn't survive to get beat up before it's destroyed.
I use pastels to add a little shading keeping it really faint.

Brush Painting the camo.
I did the Turret first, then I'll match the Hull to it.

This was just the first coat, one more to go the add the small parts and final detailing.

Now the Schurzen gets installed, I don't know if this is correct but that's how they have it in the kit.

You start with the rear pannels.


The retaining clips are handed so be shure to use the correct ones for the side you are working on.


They overlap at the mounts.

Don't forget to bend the little tabs up, this will lock them in place.

I just turned 72 Years old, My arthritis hurts like hell, My spray painting area is down a steep flight of stairs and the Dam model is very heavy for me about 10 to 15 Lb.about 30 of your Kg.
I think this is going to be my last build for this Forem, it's just getting too hard to do.

I don't think it is your last work, you still have plenty time to live and build models. This hobby just like drug addiction, you can't quit it easily. By the way, Although your skill is not very well but it is still a Nice work, you have done a great job.
