Nice one, Ezra!
Reminds me of one of my first models I ever build; this Bradley.
But you can put several pictures into one post.
As for me, I am stuck in the painting stage, as usual. I just need to paint the figures... all 2 of them.

Here is some more progress on my 1/35 sherman calliope, did some scratch building on the turret and built the flame deflector. next I plan to put on my archer raised cast marks.
and here is the scratch built vane sight ( you cant see it very well in the photos but there are the three holes drilled in ihe long piece.) And I also made the periscope cover out of copper sheet

I am working on the figures. Hope to show them by the end of the week.

Well I am going to call this one done. I applied my pastels this morning to weather it up. Sorry for the pictures, I tried different things but couldn't get them any clearer than that. Time to upgrade to a new camera I think.
I enjoyed modifying parts of the kit such as the antenna mount, the .50 caliber, the periscope hatch and things like that. Adding all of the wiring to the launchers was a little tedious but enjoyable. Making the tissue paper tarps using the old 50/50 white glue and water mixture was fun and I enjoyed adding the logs to the sides and front storage as well. Scratch-building is enjoyable. I had been wanting to make and display an older style bow saw for a while now and so I finally made one for this campaign. I figured any good tank crew couldn't pass on a saw if they had a chance to grab it.
So anyway, thank you for the campaign Ron. It felt good to actually take part in one again. I added photos to the gallery.
Thanks,
Randy

Way to go Ezra,
Looking good, keep it up. I'm enjoying your build. I took a week vacation for a "staycation" and promised my wife I wouldn't spend it building models so I really enjoy watching other's progress.
Take care and stay safe,
Don "Lakota"

Hey gang we are in the last month. Time to finish up those tributes! By-the-way that's some good looking Calliope's there!
Here's my 'test bed' for the MASSTER camo colors. I ended up mixing my own so I needed to test them out. That's an old Airfix T34 hull and turret left over from some restoration projects. (I restored any old Airfix models melting away due to track-rot. Or just replaced them if they were OOB models.)
And here's where I am with the kit. The sand brown, rust brown and forest green are on. I had the correct FS number Forest green in ModelMaster enameal - and it was entirely the wrong color. Go figure. Anyways this is what I ended up with and just the black to go. This is hand painted enameal paint over an air-brushed matte Tamiya acrylic green.
Down in the bottom-right those 2 funny-shaped white objects are my in-progress scratch-built spare track links!

Love those colours, Nick!
That camouflage scheme has fascinated me for quite a while.

Hey 'yall, heres another calliope update! there are fusey things on the top row of the rockets! ( ok, really there should be two tiny wires in the place of my one but I would have had to cut out friggen 240 ( this way I only have to cut out 120.) of them, so I thought Fu#& the rivet counters ( no offence to any rivet counters reading this, we all love you...))
( Wow that had more parentheses then one of my algebra problems!:D)
The reasons one of those bars is a lighter grey is because the original one broke of and I had to scratch build a new one.
