I built the M107 version of this a long time ago Franck..
You doing OOB or going nuts and detailing it like this one?

First crewmember is done. I am not a figure painting wizard and this new russian digital camouflage don´t really adds for my relief as it is a "first time" for me but I am more than happy about the final outcome about it. I just added the now usual national Color Badge, the army badge and the distinct unit´s badge:
I changed the final Location of this one - the gesture of him fixing something at the armatures does look more realistic than climbing up the stairs
So who comes next...
Great job! This Pion is stunning! I love all the amazing upgrades you've made for it! I can't wait to see how it ends up.

Thank you all again for your positive Feedback. It keeps my spirit high .
I finished painting the rest of the crew. All of them have the new issued RATNIK unifom but some of them still retained their trustable BUSHLAT winter anorak. One loader have a padded winter west. I tried to give it another digital tonal color, called SPEKTER-S but the difference is not too stark. I was amazed about how much different camouflage patterns were/are in use in the russian army - if you are interested in this have a look at this site https://camopedia.org/index.php?title=Russia
But now the pics of the final crew members;
The Driver
2nd gunner/mechanic
Vehicle commander
loader1
loader2
and the cartwheel-man (one of his hands got lost - have to find and refix it again)
altogether view
src="https://i.imgur.com/B7tlYqW.jpg" title="source: imgur.com" />
Now there is just one amber light and the tank antenna and a diorama base missing. The end is near!

Thank you very much Peter; actually there is not much more to do for me. I just added one amber light at the commanders station and a wireless antenna at the rear crew compartment. Right now I am waiting for my baseground to arrive from MiniNatur and then the Diorama is finished

This is where the gun shield stands right now. I'll eventually get to bending the upper shield supports to the correct curved shape. Right now, the lower supports are glued.

Thank you very much Zon; I really feel honored as figure and especially facial painting was always selfconsidered as my weak spot

Plugging along on the field gun.
Covered the Tamiya German Grey a coat of hairspray followed by AK's Real Colors RAL8000. I obviously should have used more hairspray and not thinned the AK with lacquer thinner, I can't even scratch the paint with a toothpick. I may resort to lightly dabbing the model with thinner to expose the grey.

I reached the finish line, I just had to add one amber light and an appropriate antenna to the vehicle and I completed my diorama base today. It was a huge, complicated and demanding build for me but the end result was worth every drop of sweat and blood. I would like to thank everyone for your support and always positive feedback - it was a pleasure to me.
Now the final pictures for you - sorry but because of the huge size of everything I was not always able to shoot the pics beyond my background...
Thanks for watching and see you at another campaign
P.S. I tried to place three pictures in the Campaign Gallery but always got an error Code. Can someone explain me again how to place pictures there properly?

Absolutely sensational Thomas. A true work of art.
If I could say a couple of small things? The trench of gouged soil at the rear is much deeper than the area the vehicle is sitting on, which would be unlikely. Tracks on the ground do not move unless the vehicle is turning and then they slide sideways. It is downward pressure pushing mud out to the side and the small surface clumps that stick to tracks and are flicked out later when the track rises from the ground that causes the 'trench'. So the soil would be very soft and the vehicle weight would also have pushed the vehicle down further than depicted for the trenches to be that deep - plus there would be no 'step' up from the trench up to the tracks.
To give you the idea of what I mean:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZIRjbjFGuo
Also, I expect that the crew would reverse the vehicle to dig in the blade so a small scraped area and piled up soil would result.
Not big things really, just finer detail that my An@I retentive side nags at me about.
As to the pics. Have you tried uploading the pics one at a time? Multiple upload has been an issue for a long time.

That one great dio with a big gun!
The build is done and just awaits priming and paint. Added welds and small detail I felt should be there, also browsed tons of other builds for ideas.
One of the things I did was shave off the old hinge for the front left platform and added a new one made of styrene rod. Was shifted a bit too much the right and wouldn't go down more than half way before hitting the side of the gun platform support. Also the two I-beams in all the builds are just sort of there and instructions show no correct way to place them. So I made some brackets from styrene and some welds.

Thanks a lot mate - I do understand what you mean. I will try to improve my diorama abilities when I start my Rye Field Challenger II TES this time I would not like to change anything anymore as I ran out of steam here.
the pic issue is resolved - indeed I first tried to upload three pics at once. After I did upload one by one everything went fine

Excellent finish Thomas.
Update time. Been a little slow on working on this beast. Trying like hell not to screw it up. Satin varnish applied.
Added some dirt to the running gear, but still need to dust up.
Chips and scratches are not my strong suit. Just noticed tow cables floating.
Need to paint tail light
Vallejo rusty washes on the exhaust. Tamiya black paint mixed very weak with soap and water for exhaust stains.
Working on a commander, but since i am customizing him, he might not make an appearance.
With the next update , i hope to be complete.

Signing up with a duplicate of Illini’s Tamiya Hummel plus barrel.
