Ryne,

I have been assembling some Friuls as well for my Jagdpanther (damn they look awesome). It ois not necessarily the holes that need to be cleaned, but flash of the tracks as well... once I did that, assembly was fairly easy...

For my TD for this campiagn I get to try the MK tracks...

I think I just finished my Hetzer unless you guys think it needs some more weathering. I appreciate your comments. It's DML's mid-production version OOB.

Mike!

Looks great to me. Subtle weathering and chipping. I can't see any nitpicks... :-)
Good work man!

Frag Looks just fine to me! The weathering is just right. Just 2 things, in the first pic your left track seems to be on an angle out from top to bottom and, the tow cable is just a bit to big for that little Hetzer. Your paint work and weathering are spot on though! Nice job.

Rolled on the Jadgpanther yesterday. Hot knifing in the square zimmerit with fairly good results. I am trying to figure out how to lay out the long horizontal lines for the zim on the big slab sided hull without borrowing a $1500 height gage from work...
Pics coming as soon as I have access to a digital camera agian. (Long story)
Great kit, BTW.

TD Progress,
Well I have collected the kits needed. (M36/M4A3) Now all I need is some good photos of an M36B1 to give me a start on interior fitment. The M36 turret is all open so I would like to make an attempt to
fill the Void. Todd

Hi Todd! Am also doing M36B1. Steve Zaloga has done one super detailed and I am using his build article as 1 of my refs.I am not going to get as detailed as his by a long shot. The article is on either ML or at WW2 Modeler.(I'm at work now).I will post links in afternoon if yuor search finds nada.I am using the turret parts from Verlinden's M36 detail set#2111 for Academy M36.So far,I have lower/upper hull and tranny cover joined.Truck assy's complete but not attached.Ditto sprockets.Drilled mount holes and attached tow shackle hitch pins and am scrounging some suitable keeper chain for them that I know I have somewhere Dried muds, dirts, and dusts will go on the lower reaches next before I put the truck assy's on.
cheers!

Exams come first... which means also that my Ardennes entry will not be finished in time. But rather make it a model I am satisfied with then a haste-job IŽll regret later.

I'll probably order the Blast set later this month, together with the wheels for my Spaehwagen entry.

Hi- finally got started on my M10 last night, putting paint on thewheels and bogie assemblies.
In the meantime I've been knocking together an OOB 1/72 Revell Elefant.
Not my usual 'bag', but it was a birthday prezzie. Was gonna do it in Italian campaign colours till I realised it's gonna have to be (I think) an initial version, despite what the box says. I'm probably not going to be accurate anyhow coz I can't do zimmerit, especially in that scale!

Shot the base coat last night. I am fairly happy with the way the zimmerit turned out. The most time consuming part was laying out the grid so everything was relatively square.

Hi fellows! ive finaly got some shots of my primed jagdpanther! thanks for looking.

i used some mesh i found around my desk to add grills in hte back, iam not much into buying aftermarket stuff, looks pretty good, at least better than with no mesh
