That is a pretty nice model. Cool camo pattern.
A few markings might give some extra "colour" to the model. Maybe a German cross or a number on the superstructure. However, if you are building a particular unmarked vehicle this might destroy the authenticity.
Great job on the winch assembly. Looks very cool with the chains - especially considering it is only 1/72.

Blackwulf -
Are you building the Dragon Jagdpanther (Early) kit? I've just completed mine with Cavalier 'Zim' set and used "Military Miniatures in Review; JagdPanzers" as a very valuable source (some pictures in my 'Gallery'). Based on pictures I've seen and IIRC, the 'First' (thru Jan '44) production vehicles had dual exhaust and the jack mounted horizontal below exhaust, then 'Early' (thru Feb- Apr '44) production vehicles had dual exhaust and the jack mounted vertical between exhaust. These would include Jagdpanthers of sPzAbt 654 which arrived around 28 July in France to do battle during retreat. The 'Mid' (May-Dec '44) production vehicles continued with mainly dual exhaust until addition of cooling pipes, shields around Oct '44. All had 'zimmerit' until after Sept '44. Hope this helps some and anxious to see your Jagdpanther,

Blade,
Thanks for the help--I'll stick with the dual exhaust pipes. I have seen that website and have found a few others with photos but finding the early JP's has been difficult. The stockholm website JP is an early version but has the multiple exhaust pipes on the left but I have also seen others with just the dual pipes. I was just trying to be as accurate as I could be with the more "obvious" things that you see when observing the tank. Based upon what you have said--it sounds like the earliest JP's only had the dual pipes.

Thank you.
The chain got a bit distorted when I removed it from the PE fret. Is there a good way to do that? No matter how sharp the blade is, the smal parts get a bit twisted...

Here's my entry for the campaign. It's a 1/30 scale Panther, the old Nichimo kit. Since this kit was more of a toy than a model it took alot of extra work to knock it into shape. The zimmeritt was scratched from Apoxie Sculpt, my article on this stuff can be found here on Armorama. I scratched all the tool and track racks as well as the MG plug and the exhaust covers. Sorry the pics aren't better, they were taken at the Baycon show in MA.

Nice one with the Zimmerit on the 1/30 Panther. Must have been quite a time consuming job. The result is worth it though. Looks good

Thanks blade for solving Blackwulf's problem. Nice entries guys. OK we're down to it now ....we've got a month to go and I've got 35 folks listed as complete. That still leaves close to 100 more of you out there. So I should beseeing a ton of pictures here....right? Looking forward to it. At the end, I'll publish a list ofwho I show as complete so if there is someone I missed, they can submit a pix to me and i can make sure they get awarded.
If anyone knows how to do the award design thing and can get ahold of the board this is what I want. The Iron Class 2nd class ribbon with a black cat in the center of it. My friend who designed it for me is no longer allowed on the site, but I still have his permission to use his design as it was a gift to me.

Well, I think I've got a couple fairly decent photos now for the MEOW Campaign. Couple of my Dragon JagdPanther (Early), "Hunting Panther" and one for the Tamiya Tiger I (Mid) that I'm still hoping to finish in time. Both will be going in dioramas which will mean some final weathering, minor tweaks to fit them in. Holiday schedule probably means that the dioramas will still be in progress and I've also got another JagdPanther working for the "Purple Hearts".
The Dragon JagdPanther is mostly OOB with Cavalier 'Zim', some PE, a scratch built barrel cleaning tube, and WW II Production tracks. The Tamiya Tiger I has Atak 'Zim' and hopefully more PE time permitting.

Thanks JKJ.
The zimmerrit was easy using the Apoxie Sculpt. It took longer to dry than it did to produce.

Thanks, still getting back into it slowly. The foliage is from "Michael's" craft store, comes in large bag called 'Green Moss'.

Upload them in your photo-gallery, and then move them to the campaign's directory (pretty easy, you'll see.) Then just copy and paste the link under the photo here.

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated.
My first attempt after a 20 year break at modelling. This model will be added to my first Diorama attempt soon.

Nice pieces to make a diorama. Looks real similar to what I did for my first one. Tiger tanks, with crew at rest and maintenance figures. Still classics after all these years.

Her is my little kitten.

It is an Leopard 2A4 from Finland.

1/72 scale Revell kit with a few parts of an Eduard etch set.
I also added an box on the front of the turret and doubled the handles on the turret sides.

I really like the camouflage on the armor in Finland

Tjena Björn. Glad to see you on Armorama and joining in on the campaigns. Some very nice entries.
Love the base with the Finnish Leopard. Simple but very effective. Adds to the finnish look IMO.

Well I am going to finish my version of Norbert for this Campaign. I just hope I can finish by the deadline. i am going to hope for the best. Thanks for letting me in to the Campaign. I am about two thirds through the construction I gather. I am using the Dragon kit. Thanks.

A few photos of the my bergetiger. Aside from the tracks it's getting ready. Filters will be added, dust, some really minor scratches, and it's done. (I don't like to put too much dirt on my stuff.) The tracks will probably take a millennium to assemble. (The final push to buy this kit was the tracks. I've never worked with link and length tracks in 1/72. Now I know why.)
I really like silly putty for masking. So far it's been the best method.
Funny, but I don't know, whose little truck got into my post... Something is wrong in the matrix.

Andras nice job on the Bergetiger, can't wait to see it finished.
I am attempting two Tiger I's for this GB. Both from Dragon, one will be Norbert and the other an Initial Tiger I from the PzAbt. 502 from 1942.
I have an older digital camera so I might have to use my Rebel 2000. I will keep you all posted. I may be just a bit late in posting. But I hope not to be.

Keep 'em coming folks !!! I figure 10 to 14 days left to go. If you need a few extra days or so to finish up no problem. No more than a week though. I'll check on entries and post a list of completions a week or so after New Years so we can resolve any disputes and make sure everyone who earned the award recieves it
