Well in about 8 hrs I will be on the road heading to LA/Anaheim for the Dragon Expo. Armorama doesn't have a table or stand at this show (I decided against it this time around) but Vinnie and I will be at the show and would love to meet any site members or visitors who attend the show.

The second in DML's Sd kfz 234 series is due for release this week at Dragon Expo - and shortly afterwards in the usual retail outlets. Meanwhile, as a taster, we present images of the kit...

Last month, at the Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan, DML confirmed the release of their long awaited M4A3E8 in 1/35th scale. Now we can bring some more detailed images than previously published...

There is little doubt (apart from a few doubters) that DML has now established itself as the market leader in 1/35th scale armor. However, an equally significant change has been taking place in their 1/72nd scale range in both subjects and the innovative features that are being offered. These are the new releases getting listed for release in July 2006...

Two new releases have been announced by Dragon Models Limited, one in 1/35th scale, the other in 1/72nd....

The annual Shizuoka Hobby Show has just started in Japan and, not surprisingly, the first off the starting block has been Dragon Models. This time, the Allied modellers are getting something which has been needed for a while...

Three new releases are getting listed from Dragon Models for June 2006...

Back in january, when we published the advance details of Dragon Model's release program (or at least the ones I could talk about), one of the more interesting announcements was the creation of a new 'line' - the 'Premium Edition' Range..

Trying to keep abreast of releases from Dragon Models is a positively herculaneum task. Again the attention turns to 1/72nd scale, with some confirmation of New items listed in their 2006 catalogue...

I have just received, courtesy of Dragon Models Limited, images of the forthcoming M1A1 Aim in 1/35th scale.

One of the most eagerly-welcomed models in the coming months is undoubtedly the 1/35th scale Marder II... Now as a 'taster' we bring images of this forthcoming kit...

Undoubtedly, one of the most-needed releases in 1/35th scale, has been a new kit of the vehicles based on the heavy German Panzerspähwagen , 8 wheeled Armored cars. As was announced previously, Dragon Models Limited have one on the 'immediate' horizon....

In the third of these Dragon Models' News stories based on their 2006, catalogue, the attention turns to an increasingly important (and horribly neglected) part of the hobby - 1/72nd scale.

The list in the catalogue, is curiously enough, a lot more interesting than the lists for 1/35th scale.

It should also be noted, these are informative , not definitive. Things will doubtless change during the course of the year.....

Thru a special 'dispensation' - Dragon Models are allowing us to publish the details of the new products listed in theit 2006 catalogue.

In what seems to be a continuing process from DML, yet another Flak artillery piece has been announced. The subject this time is the 2cm Flak 38, which is going to be given the Full treatment. (PE, different variants etc)....

Sadly, for many modellers, 1/72nd scale still seems to require a lot of convincing. Here with the latest (and future) releases of 1/72nd scale armor from Dragon Models are a number of VERY convincing arguments....

Another 251 is going to be added to Dragon's already extensive list of variants of this vehicle...

Just announced by DML through DragonUSA's website, are two new armor releases, one in 1/72nd scale, the other in 1/35th. The latter is certainly going to bring a smile to the Allied Armor modellers who have wanted this paticular variant for some time...

For the last few days, the modelling world was thrown into a bit of a spin with the announcement of a new kit of the D.A.K. Tiger I which many (myself included) interepreted as an update/conversion set. In fact this is a complete kit using the Tiger 'Initial' as the basis...

It seems that 99% of the stories published on this site, covering future Dragon releases, are related to 1/35th scale. Therefore, it is a positive feeling when their 1/72nd scale releases can be covered in an equally serious manner.

It seems like ages since there was some really solid news from Dragon however, now there is some significant news on several different fronts....

Somewhat overshadowed by the recent plethora of 3-in-1 kits, Dragon has announce the release of a new updated and perfected Henschel Jagdtiger that will be "a leader amongst kits".

A few weeks ago, when Dragon Models announced their new '3 -in 1' kits of the PzIV series, there was a considerable reaction in the modelling world....

This is going to reverberate. Several months ago, AFV Club announced a Flak 18 in 1/35th scale. Guess what?

A while back, the news story was run on an interesting new kit from Dragon Models Limited - their new (3534) M1 Panther II Mine Detection and Clearing Vehicle in 1/35th scale. Now we are able to bring you images of this unusual AFV....

When DML started producing their 3 in 1 kits, the modelling let out a collective gasp of surprise.... Thanks to the fine work of Jim Rae and the writing skills of Vinnie Branigan (Teacher), Dragon Models Ltd. has offered to start sending us items directly from Hong Kong for review on the site. While we have been getting items from many established vendors this is the first relationship with a major plastic manufacturer and hopefully a sign of things to come for 2005.
