hello, would it be possible to have an extension of 15 days?
I contracted the corona in mid-November and was only able to continue the assembly last week.

Going to call this done for now. There are 1 or 2 tiny things I want to do as I am waiting on materials and once he silly season starts it's unlikely I will get a chance to get them done and the campaign is due to finish. So my Academy Merkava Mk2. I'll also be posting pics in the new forum to see how that works.

Final touches done to the ex-Egyptian, now in Israeli service Loyd Carrier. Bronco kit with re-modification of interior and details added as per previous posts. Figure is a modified Dragon body, legs and helmet and a cut down Hornet head (I think, bought at and a few others at a swap). Israelis used a mix of US, British and Civilian clothing with no set way to match them, hence the way it appears. The greatcoat and headscarf (commonly worn back then) is made from Magic Sculpt. I do dabble in figure mods, but I do not profess to be a great figure painter.... !
A bit prolonged from start to finish, but I have been doing various builds on and off as time permitted. I have enjoyed this group build and enjoy seeing everyone else's contributions - keep them coming!

Agreed, and I like it too. I'm hoping Eduard would release one, because they have released 109s and Avia before and are known to make Israeli versions of their kits.

Nice Peter. That is a brand of Kit I had not heard of before, even though they have been making kits since 1968! Obviously the Russian occupation of Czech had something to do with it! What are they like to build?

Hi guys! I see some impressive builds here. Work got in the way of starting my contribution earlier, but here it is: I'll be building AFV Club's Centurion Shot (1967). The only aftermarket will be DEF Model's cover for the mantlet. Since it's my first AFV Club kit, I'll tread slowly, but I plan to finish this by the end of the year. There are quite a lot of parts in the box.
I read a lot about the Six Day War and built an Egyptian JS-3 for the current Trumpeter campaign earlier this year, the idea is to display both in a sort of "Sinai Showdown" diorama sometime. As an inspiration I'll use this wonderful build I found on the net, although my humble skills are a couple of tiers below the genius who built this one:

Keep on going with your impressive projects!

I've used the VMS texture set in an effort to replicate the non slip om the hull. I've intentionally not made it too uniform as photos I've seen show MkII's look a little battle weary.
Can anyone let me know if the non slip extends down the side of the hull past the turret sides?

So it's finally taken this long to sort things out. Going to be doing Academy's Merkava MkII with a Legend basket update and Eureka XXL tow ropes.

OK, I know I said I was planning to build that Dauphin helicopter, and I really ought to be doing it. But damn it, I wanna build a tank!
So, I'm asking for a bit of advice. I'm normally a wingey-thingey guy, but I have a couple of crawlies under my belt and I've been doing this modelling thing for a good long while. I'd like to do a Merkava and I have a few, but from the experienced group here, which would be more difficult: the Takom IIB or the Meng 3D early? I can't decide which one to go for and I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.
