Vladimir Demchenko kindly informed us about the details of the upcoming BRAVO-6 kit which will make Vietnam War Huey fans very happy.

B6-35068 includes M23 Armament Subsystem with tubes, support beams, pintle pods, M60D machine guns, ammo chute and ammo boxes.

As always in 1/35 scale, resin cast with PE parts for machine guns and a colorful assembly guide.

Great kit to improve a Vietnam War UH-1D.

Wow...finally, what I've always hoped for is now a reality; I've never understood what the #*! Dragon was thinking when they released the UH-1D crew kit with only ONE XM-23 mount (the other being a bungee-chord type M-60). Not two guns & mounts of the same kind, one for each door? Huh? Back in 2008 I purchased the 'Cobra Company' XM-23 resin kit, but frankly there was so much flash to trim off, and I wound up whittling the barrels down to far, and...it was a failure. I then tried to scratch build 2 mounts of my own and, that's right, both were glorious failures too. So...thank you Bravo-6 for doing TWO whole XM-23 systems and including BOTH in the same box! These will not be failures.

Thanks guys! First of all, I`d like to thank my friends who helped me with photos, informations and modelling. Process was long , but groovy. I`ve discovered 2 interesting moments: left an right mounts are n`t similar or mirror-symmetric. Main horizontal tube is universal for both sides, but isntalled one side upside down (that`s why it has box brackets on top and bottom). The kit contains different ones for left and right sides. And second funny moment - ammo box is not parralel with this tube. Anyway I`m glad that we can do it at last. Also I`d like to say that door-gunneres upcoming kit 35069 will be include this M23 subsystem too.
