MacOne Models informs us about their new sets of Jersey barriers. They are available at different sizes and scales.

Jersey barriers are modules of steel-reinforced poured concrete, usually seen separating lanes on highways. They have widespread use also in military areas for restricting traffic or protecting zones.

There are a lot of uses in modern dioramas for these barriers, like building highways, surrounding controlled areas, with soldiers taking cover behind them or with sappers deploying them, to name a few.

An interesting variant is a shorter type but taller. These ones serve also as temporary walls offering more protection. While the traditional barriers can only stop vehicles, the tall ones can build a true separation in very short time.

The sets from MacOne Models are in resin and can represent short barriers(4 pieces), long barriers (3 pieces) and this last type of tall barrier (2 pieces)also. They are available at 1/35 and 1/48 scales.

The regular types have the correct height for the standard 32" high Jersey barriers, and feature also the rectangular notches for manipulation with a forklift.
