Most of the SASR SLR's used in SVN had various mods and the inclusion of the standard pistol grip to the forestock was quite common to help control it when in Full Auto (as almost all were at that stage). Interestingly this one has the 20 rd mag whilst most patrol pics show the 30 rd L4 Bren (Curved) or L2 AR (Straight) mags. These have been well researched and the gear is pretty spot on for late 60's patrol member. At a stretch these could easily be modified for Malaya or Op Claret SAS, RNZSAS or SASR figures Cheers Al

Still trying to work out in my brain how the "gesture" figure fits in with these two... I've picked up a number of Bravo-6 figures (Viet Cong & Platoon) and like Evolution/Battalion/Imperium/MasterClub fugures they are excellent; so no doubt these will be too.
