Masterbox Ltd. have just mailed us with details of two completely New figure sets which will be available shortly.
The first of these is a minor innovation from the company with a 'Multipose' set:
MB3563 - "Counterattack "
The set consists of Six, highly-animated Soviet Infantry in the process of counterattacking . The figures are wearing early-war uniforms and, unusually carrying the FULL infantry pack. Also notable in this set is the early-style helmets - something which is now beginning to appear in the appropriate sets. So, why is it multipose? Within this set are many additional parts such as weapons, heads etc. on two sprues, which allow more than 12 different figures to be built.
The second set, once again, goes for the 'Vignette-in-a-Box' approach which the company have virtually made their own. In this:
MB3572 - "Crossroad"
The set, once again, uses their BMW M/C, but includes 2 Soviet Scouts about to give a nasty surprise to the M/C crew. Also, in a very different touch, a previously captured German is being held down by one of them.
Both of these sets, as we have come to expect, show a real flair for a more radical and imaginative approach to styrene figure sets. And not one pointing figure amongst them...
Our thanks, once again, to Masterbox Ltd. for the Update!
