well, finally, here's an update from me, with picture!
The tracks have been added as has the basiccolour in vallejo german grey, which is quite dark!
You can also see the beginning of the base the vehicle will be put on.
just a few more paintingsessions and I can add one more completed build to my collection!!
Here's what it looks like now:

I go through with the Italeri/Zvezda kit and creates a silk purse from a sows ear. Then Dragon launches a new Pz.Jg. I. Wel, I guess I will have to pick one up anyway.

Well, Jesper, sometimes life is that hard... But you can allways see it from the bright side. Your stash has been reduced by one more kit!!
As for me, I am going like a train here.... Speaking of which, here's a piece of the railway I am going to use as a base for my 251.
It has been placed on a simple wooden board, edges sanded smooth and painted with Tamiya's red brown and flat black. The rolling surface has been done with Andrea's gunmetal. After that I filled in the rest with very fine stones and added a first black wash.
I still have to touch up the metal with some black to get a straight line and then add a lot more washes varying from grey to brown and rust. When that's done I can bring out the powders and dust the whole thing up!

Hi all! Been keeping up with this GB, although haven't posted much in the last few months. Very nice work being done by all.
Well, way back on page 5 of this thread, I started my T-26. Its still underway - the Aber fenders are together (d%@# photo etch), I've assembled some of the larger photo etch tool boxes, etc. and the road wheels are on. Had to make an axle for the rear idler wheels, as the kit part was ... well, I'm not sure how that was supposed to fit! Then came to the realization that:
1) With the Aber fenders in place, there's not much room for the track, and
2) I forgot to get track... (the kit track is enough to give the hardiest soul a fright!)
Of course, nobody had any Friul T-26 track in stock. Finally found some at the beginning of the month (Thanks, Models by Mickster!) and have just concluded assembling 200 some odd tiny track links into 2 tracks. I can't see straight (let alone take any pics right now), but will post some tomorrow.
Next up - more photoetch bending, applying some rivet detail using Archer transfers, and a bit of paint...

Hi guys!
Because of some questions concerning placing of pictures for this campaign I've modified rules of campaig. Condition 4. has been added and it says:
4. To get your ribbon in the end of campaign you have to post at least one picture of finshed model in the campaign forum or / and in campaign gallery.
Andrzej

Hi James, thanks for linking the forum to the gallery.
As I've mentioned - place where you have to add the picture is optional - this forum OR gallery - I will check both placecs in search for finnished projects.

Hi, it's me again.
I just want to deliver some more WIP pictures and I'm going back to watch another episode of Battlestar Galactica (OK. now you know why my progress is so slow... ):
I've just started interior assembly:
To be continued (soon I hope )

Hello All,
A lot of excellent builds. Keep up the post!
Ron, the RR tracks look awesome. Nice to see paint on the 251, Keep Postin Pics.
William, the sig33 is cool. Love the camo. It looks like a very low profile for an artillery piece on a tank chassis, unlike the Grille.
Andrzej, The T-34 interior is painted BattleStar Gallactica White Just Kidding. It really looks amazing. The detail is something else! Need to add a 1/72 T-34 in your pics for size comparison.
Great looking projects all!

@ Mobious: thanks for the comments! The RR is ready now and I can concentrate on the actual vehicle and its crew again.
@ Andrzej: Are you sure you are building in 1/35?? Looks more like 1/16 to me!! Great build and I just love the detail in it!
@ John: I can't comment on the Somua, since the pictures are quite dark and out of focus. Please show us some new ones.
As for the Su85, I do like the looks of this "beasty" looking machine. It turned out great. What is the add-on armor made of? Wood??
@ William: Your vehicle turned out really good! You really should put it on a base. I think that would enhance the appearance even more!

William - great build. I do love the details! Fantastic!
John - SU-58 went out very nice - it's a clean build for sure
Ron, I've never written that it is 1/35 (or have I? ). Tuomas is right - this is Trumpeter 1/16 T34.

Hi!
I've done some assembling since the last post - I've put the engine, gear box, fan and brakes in place. It's becoming cosy inside ...
More comming soon (probably closer to the weekend)

Hi Andrzej,
I appearently missed the 1/16th part... sorry
I was simple amazed by the level of detail and work on the vehicle, that's why I asked. And I still am.

Hello,
Andrzej, Really love the level of detail, the steering brakes as well as the engine and transmission look great. The Trumpeter kit illustrates the simplicity and revolutionary design of the T-34. Keep up the excellent work and post!
Best Regards,
Mobious

Thanks !!
Yes the Su-85 has some add-on armour, 2 rusted metal plates on 1 side, and wood protection on the other.
I will try to post some more pics of the Somua too, I finished the weathering this weekend, just some dust.
Will post them this week!
