Thanks. I also used to play with these many years ago. It was a trip down memory lane, when I started building this one.
A pleasant and fun build - incredible that it is still buildable by todays standards.

Hello All,
Finally here's two pictures of my Sherman V. I'm not a photographer, so sorry for the pics. It's the Dragon 1:72 M4A4 Tulip, backdated to a mid-version from RMASG shortly after D-Day.
The turret is not completed, I'll try to make some finer details now.
Cheers,
Peter

Second time to try an input, I would like to join this campaign with an Italeri M4 A1 and Formations extras, (76 mm barrel, antenna, and cable with clamps). Now to see if I can upload a photo for my first time. Well it would not upload my pictures so I will have to work on that.

hey,
Started my Sherman's campaign,as planned,I'am taking the M32 parts from Italeri's M32,and placing them on the M4A3,creating a M32B3,I'll be using a complete set of suspension/solid bogie's,drive sprockets left overs from DML build, along with a set of indy tracks.

I entered this one , been a long time since I have done a campaign but I am beginning a Sherman project anyway so this one just fit into my build schedule perfectly.
Hopefully I will be completing a Sherman IIIAY (M4A2E8) as used by the Canadian Army in the late 40s early 50s. These tanks were in use with various regiments right up into the 1960s in reserve units. I am doing a build log of the project on the KCAMPS website (www.kcamps.org) but will post pictures here when I get more done.

You can enter it into the campaign if you started your build after the campaign started - in this case 4th April. You enter the campaign by uploading a picture in this tread AND upload a picture to the campaign gallery. The campaign gallery is
HERE It is a really cool build and looks excellent with the crew and the subtle weathering. The M51 is definitely a different looking part of the Sherman family.

Glad to hear a lot of people are entering this campaign. The more participants the more fun
Robert, a very interesting project. It will be nice to see how much the extra accessories will add the old Italeri kit.
Looking forward to see more

Jeff thanks for the comments but I still have to put it together and after 30 years away from the hobby I only hope to do as well as the rest of you. You guys are awsome from what I have seen.

Well thanks, but I'm certainly not deserving to be in the same catagory as the guys on here. I put models together and I am an armor enthusiast but I hesitate to call myself a modeler.
I'm sure with all the great goodies you have there the fire will burn again!
I look forward to seeing it too!

Greetings to all participants in this campaign. I hope that it is appropriate to post progress pictures.
I almost wish that I had entered with a somewhat simpler to get my building skills back. The 1/72 Dragon M4 is a fantastically detailed kit but is trying my eyesight, hand co-ordination and skills.
Now without further adieu, the progress shots.
And here are the subassemblies as I added the extra armour to the turret and hull.
Cheers,
Jan
