Hi Folks,
I built this for another WOTIF in the Canadian Modern Vehicles forum build, but I thought I would post it here in case anyone may think it was worth a glance.

Thanks Chad,
One of the guys in the Modern Canadian Vehicle Forum said that in the late 1980's it was considered as a replacement for the Leopard C1.

Yup, that was me on the other forum.
In the mid to late 1980s Canada did seriously consider the Challenger 1, the M1A1 Abrams, the Leopard 2, and the Leclerc all as contenders to replace the Leopard C1. That tank replacement project was cancelled due to budget cuts shorlty after it started.

Scott,
I don't know that much about modern armor but that cudda camo sure looks interesting. Could you alaborate a little about it? I do like the way it looks on your Challenger.
Chad,
This is one tank the allies wished they could have had during WWII to more than even up the score in both the European Theatre and Eastern Front and perhaps as early as the African Campaign. Chad you stay focused on building when things get ruff. It helps me to forget about everything during my time building just long enough to start new again. One small piece of plastic at a time . . . one giant dream!
Eric,
Cool looking Canadian Challenger all weathered out like its been running around for a while on the field doing some heavy duty training. I don't know much about the modern armourd vehicles but they look to be equipt with more than just one antenna mast with sensors and GPS stuff. Makes for some interesting modeling subjects.

My Submission. E-100 (1946). This tank has probably been rail transported to the Alpine bastion before the capitulation of Berlin. i wanted it to be part of a diorama depicting the "Werewolf" operations in the alpine hideout with IR capable infantry backed with 2 x E-100 or maus tanks.

Hi All. I've been away for awhile. Looks like some mighty impressive builds going on. I have a bit to do yet on my Flakpanther conversion, but I am hoping to have it completed to go with my Konigsjagdpanther I posted earlier. I took it to a contest this past weekend and was awarded a 1st place finish with it in the Hypothetical category. Nice to know it was appreciated. lol. I have been picking up a few kits here and there for some more waffen 46' projects. With school ending soon, I am hoping to get a little more time in at the bench. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks, "Q"

Hi guys,
I only discovered this thread by chance (awesome thread BTW !) and am pretty new when it comes to posting something on Armorama, so am still not too sure how the forum and campaign structure works, but here goes.
This is my sci-fi "Jagdsherman" based on the 1/72 UM Sherman and a Pershing gun barrel.
I enjoyed this one, and am quite happy with the result, even if it is only my second or third allied tank.
The markings were painted on with Stencilit masks, which allowed me to go for lo-viz markings on the side.
Thanks to Peter Bergström and Mark Deliduka for donating most of the parts of this kit. (UM chassis, Trumpeter gun barrel.)
All comments welcome.
PS: I posted the same thing elsewhere on Armorama, but - like I said - I am still discovering, so bear with me...

The way campaigns work is that the model usually must be built between the starting and ending dates of the campaign. There are exceptions like the "Get the Job Done..Again" and "Tank Overhaul" campaigns. Campaign Leaders can also allow already started models if they want. To join a campaign, you must enlist at the campaign page. If you look at the tabs to the right of the Armorama header, you will see one called "CAMPAIGNS". You can see the current and future campaigns and sign up for them. Please note the rules of the campaign as well.
I like your JagdSherman!

Thanks Gary,
I didn't find it at first, as I was looking at this page only
http://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcampaigns&secid=10
I have enlisted now; apparently I satisfied all the requirements
Only need to add an alternative history. Well, that's pretty simple: in need of an answer to the Tiger Ausf.B & Jagdtiger, awaiting the arrival of Pershing and inspired by the Jagdpanther the US Army tested this heavy tank hunter as a stop-gap measure.

Found that pic while surfing. Nice work in a small scale too. Thanks for joining the group. "Q"

Well, my diorama portion of my KISS army what-if is on hold. The table was going to use to build has be confiscated by my wife to do school work. Can I submit my tanks and figures as my build for the campaign?

Here is my submission, the German WWII Battleship Gneisenau.
The scenario is what if the Germans had up-gunned the ship from 9 11 inch guns to 6 15 guns like they wanted to. They weren't able to because they were low on steel (from building tanks) and the British kind of bombed it to smithereens. If she had 15 inch guns she would have been much more formidable and capable of penetrating the armor of Britain’s battleships. Not that it would have mattered because the British and Americans had air superiority, but a few of the Gneisenau’s engagements might have gone differently if her guns had longer range.
