I'm in. Dunno what with though. Maybe another Cent. or a Firefly. Being this will be my first campaign I don't know if I'm brave enough to get into all the conversion work in Coyote or Leo teritory.

I just have to figure out how to post my images.

With 15 days to go until "D-Day" I guess that that's something I should have looked at too... I have no idea as to how to post images onto the campaign page

Does anybody know how to do this?

You can use an off-site photo hosting place, I like Photobucket but for some reason many do not. There's also Webshots and Picasa, as well as the Kitmaker network photo gallery, which you should have access to as a member of Armorama. Then it's just a matter of uploading your pics to the hosting site, then providing the links in your message. Usually it's pretty straight forward as you just need to copy and paste the link.

I should have clarified my question a little; I was meaning how do I upload my pictures into the section in Kitmaker galleries for campaigns? I can't find where to upload on that part of the website. I clicked on the upload button, but as far as I can tell, it only uploads onto my member's page.

Is that a better stated question or should I use screenshots to show what I mean?

Sorry for any confusion,

The gallery for the campaign is something I set up. I usually do that just before the campaign starts.

Okay, when the gallery is set up, how do I upload it then?

Sorry for all of the questions,

@NebLWeffah: I actually just read your article in Scale Military Modelling International about the LAV III, and I must say, you have some serious modelling skills! Should I be frightened that I'm building the same tank as you for the entry? Anyways, it was a great article!

Yes, be afraid....be verrry afraid.... haha

Lol Zaltar, of course I'm only kidding. Thanks for your kind words. I'm assuming you're building the Real Model conversion? It's a great kit and I'm sure you'll make a great model of the LAV III. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

cheers:

When you get to the KitMaker Gallery, on the right you should see a link titled "Home". Click on that and you get to the start of the gallery. In the list shown, click on "Campaigns". Next, click on the "Currently Active Campaigns" link. Click on link for the campaign gallery you want to use. Then it's the same procedure as uploading to your Member gallery.

@NebLWeffah: I worded that wrong; I was referring to your earlier post that you were going to build a Firefly, which is the kit that I'm going to build. What model company are you using?

BTW: Thanks for letting me know that I would build a good LAV III, I've been thinking about doing one for a while, but I haven't got a kit!

@Gary: Thanks for the help, I'm now all ready to start the campaign! (other than the fact that I'm still not done my CF-18, I just finished painting it)

Hopefully I'll get my jet out of the way before the 26th, the -35 cold snap that's coming tomorrow should give me a good excuse to finish detail painting! Only 2 weeks left!

Hey Zaltar, just joking with you earlier. For my Firefly I'm using the Tasca kit with Aber photoetch and barrel as well as the Legends resin stowage/accessory set. I'm going to scratchbuild a partial interior as I want the hatches open.

Sounds like a good build plan Bob I'll be watching that. I have built the Tasca kit and it is well worth the cash.

Sounds Great! I'm doing the Dragon Vc kit pictured here:

The only aftermarket parts that I'll use are Ultracast decals for the British Columbia Regiment, and possibly an Ultracast figure.

P.S.: Bob, you seem to be popping up everywhere! Not only did I read your article in SMMI, but I'm in the process of reading "Shake Hands with the Devil" by Lieutenant General Romeo Dallaire and, lo and behold, guess who makes an entrance !

OK, I’m in

Here are the kits, from the bottom of the stash, which I hope to complete.
I have some AM to use but won’t fix much else, I just want to get them done and on the shelf. These kits have been surpassed by new releases so I see no point in putting in too much work.
(leaving the rockets off the M4A4)

Haha... that would be interesting but I can assure you, that's not me. I haven't read the book, there really is a Bob Read in there? By the way, I have two articles in SMMI, one on the LAVIII and the other on the AVGP Cougar in UN service.

cheers

Yep, there's a Lieutenant Commander Robert Read of the Canadian Navy in there.

I also read your other article, it was great too!

I'm strongly considering joning this campaign, as I have a couple of Canadian subjects on the shelf. One question, are vehicles required?

Hi,
count me in for a 1/72 aircraft of some sort...not sure yet.
Might have to do a bit of shopping in the sales.

@JAFMA: Sounds good.

@captnenglish: Vehicles are not required. Any model (As long as it has a Canadian subject) is welcome in this campaign. Feel free to join with any entry.

@DT61: Welcome to the campaign, I hope you enjoy it!

@paultoz: Welcome to the campaign, I hope you enjoy your build! Also enjoy the sales!

Hi,

I preparing some more new Canadian Modern vehicles. I place one to this superb Campaign.
Maybe E-LAV, LAV III LORIT or CDN Leo 2A6M w/new slat armor.

Count me in, I have several ideas, they just don't all have vehicles involved, but if that's ok, I'll just have to make room for another project on the WB
