Hey Todd, just post your pictures on the campaign gallery under "Photos" and the ribbon is yours! That's one mean looking Sherman, and I love your weathering! What scale is it?

Hi Zaltar. Thanks It is the old Italeri kit in 1/35th scale and the Verlinden dozer blade. Iv been wanting to put it together for some time now and this campaign was the perfect excuse.
Todd.

Almost there...
I just need to do the caked on dust on the skirts, rear, glasis and a bit on the turret (so it will be a lot more dusty ).
I also need to dirty up the exhaust with soot
At this stage no pigments have been used, just oil washes...
I should be finished in a couple of days ...

Congrats to everyone who finished, awesome C2 MEXAS Paul! Here's where I got to on my Badger, more work than I had anticipated and lots more work needed. It's the Elite kit matched up to the Italeri lower hull. I thought I could change projects and throw together an AFV CLub M5A1 for the deadline but I didn't even have time for that. So maybe one day I'll get this thing finished!

Paul, that is AMAZING. I can't wait to get my hands on a MLM set when they reopen.
Unfortunately I waited too long to start this for the campaign but here are my progress shots for the Leopard 2A6M I'm working on,

Jim and Sean: If you would still like the ribbon, you can finish any time, and as long as it goes in the campaigns gallery, I'd certainly award it. I'm really lenient on schedules for a hobby, so just finish any time you'd like to; I'm exactly the same with my Firefly, which is painted and awaiting completion of the tracks.

Thanks Jim !
Your ML blog motivated me to get the MLM Conversion and build the beast. Yours is a beauty
I just need to do some more dust and it'll be finished.
BTW your badger is really cool, please post more pics as you finish it off

Thanks Sean,
I love the beast ! I'll do Anthony Sewards' Dozer Tank 'Call sign 12B' when MLM get up and running again. I think I'll add a 'beach' umbrella to the turret too for shade
Keep the 2A6M coming along !!
Cheers

It's funny, I'm building his 2A6M now and want to build the Leo 1 he commanded as well. I'm on a streak of finishing models so I hopefully will be done building this on in the next week or so.

Hey Sean,
I have the 2A6 and all of the storm etc 2A6M bits ready too (including slat). However that'll need to wait until after the Sherman and other Campaign's.

Ok I'm finished
I must say this has been a super fun build, and as I've said many times I LOVE this MLM C2 Mexas Conversion, it is such a super cool looking tank.
I can't wait until this conversion is re released !!
I only added a little more dust as suggested by Anthony, as the conditions were not very dusty at that time (The time period represented is Winter 2006 / 7 when the initial deployment of B Squadron Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) took place).
Here are the finished pics :
Zaltar pics also in the Campaign Gallery
Cheers

Finally finished my Sherman - kit is DML Sherman III with Ultracast Canadian Storage Bins, Decals and Tank Commander.
Paint was slow to dry - might be the higher than normal humidity. The treads look a little pinkish in the pictures but are much darker under actual light.
I enjoyed the campaign - gave me great incentive to finish off some stuff to clear the workbench plus do a new project.
Pics are attached below.
Thanks,
Karl

Paul : very nice final touch on your C2 Mexas.
Jim : Is the Elite kit that bad you needed to make your own plastic and metal parts for the jacks of the arm ?
