Hi all,
here are the first pictures of my project. As you can see it, a long way to go.

Well, I tried to get more done on my Firefly today. I must say, Dragon is not living up to my expectations. The fit of everything but the upper hull has been "meh" to "dismal". Today, I tried to add the front of the hull. Thanks to some very unclear instructions, I got it on after nearly an hour of fiddling about, it's attached, but doesn't look right . I'll probably just leave it, because I don't know how it's actually supposed to fit.
Oh well, next up is the turret; hopefully that goes according to plan...
I hope everybody else's builds are going better than mine...

here's quick photo of the Esci 1/72 CF-18.
Almost done, since the last update it has had a gloss coat, decals, oil wash and flat coat. Just 4 missiles to add. Decals aren't great, but then again neither is the kit to start with. I messed up the canopy a little, but no one will notice when it is up on the shelf.

Here are some week-end progress.
The hatches got some details for the locking devices.
The exhaust has been shortened by 5mm as BVM messed it up.
As you may see BVM has not made any marking to locate the position of the parts. So it's a guess game and you don't have good pictures, it could turn into a nightmare.

Looks great as usual Olivier!
Paul: It's looking like you'll be first to finish! The decals aren't that bad, and you've made the old kit look great!

For today, I started work on the commander figure. It went together incredibly well, and it only needs a little bit of filler.
I'll also be entering this in the "Paint Those Troops" campaign.

Here's my finished figure:
Has anybody else made any progress? With almost fifty people enlisted, it's not very busy on this topic..

My C2 Mexas is about 3 to 4 weeks away from being started. I need to finish my current project - JagdPanzer Kanone for the Tank Killer Campaign, and then it'll be full steam ahead to get the Leo completed on time
Cheers

My second figure, ready to be painted. He will finish off the diorama that I'll be building for my Firefly. Hopefully I can decide on a regiment by later today:

Hello Zaltar,
I'm still alive but I don't work as fast as I expected.
here are some pictures of where I've gone so far. The Husky's still missing the headlights and the turning lights guards.
All the tools will be added after the painting.
The largest part ahead is the tubing of the crane !
The water propeller protection will need some work to remove the excess of glue. It should not be that hard.

Don't worry about being slow, Olivier, my progress is slower than yours! I'm glad to see that you've got quite alot done, it certainly looking more finished than my Firefly!
Has anybody else gotten anything done? It's been rather slow on this thread...
I might have some progress today or tomorrow, because now I need to finish the hull, and then onto the turret.

Hi
I know I'm late, but, I'd like to get in the sandbox and play too.
Just today, I started on a P-51D which I'll be finishing in Canadian colors, probably an example fom 403 Sqn., circa 1953. I have those AM decals.
Hope its OK.

Sure Guy, don't worry about being late! Welcome to the campaign, and it will be nice to see more aircraft on here!
The same goes for any late comers; just enlist, it doesn't matter if you sign up two days before the end of the campaign, you're always welcome here!

Hi all,
some more pictures of the Husky. The headlights have been put after some detailing (wire, correct shaped cat-eye bracket, a replacement cat-eye as one was missing in the kit).
Then I fixed the too long MG bracket. You can see the difference between the first picture and the following ones. I added some details too.
