To post pictures in your posts, you will need to upload them to the web(try photobucket). After you have uploaded them, select their http link and paste it into the post. I can do some looking for the tracks, but offhand I would suggest Fruil model.

Hello All-
I have started my kit which will be the older Dragon kit of a Porsche Jagdtiger. I am totally impressed with the way it has gone together so far; there are virtually no large gaps or a lot of seams. The track links leave a lot to be desired, though. Does anyone have any advice on alternative tracks to use on this? Also, it has been a while since I attached photos on Armorama. How do I link the photos to my posts?
Thanks for the help...

Alright! Thanks for the advice. Who are some distributors in the continental US for the Friul tracks?
For an early Jagdtiger what would be a good camouflage scheme? Should I just stay with the good old 'dunkelgelb' as it was an early production Jagdtiger? What units did the Porsche Jagdtigers go to?
Sorry for all of the questions......

You may find some tracks at redfroghobbies.com or on ebay. As for the camo, that is up to you. So long as it is historically accurrate, you have the option of paint scheme and markings. You should be able to find information about the vehicle on wikipedia.

Here's my contribution to the campaign. It's Dragon's old Pz. KwG III G built out of the box expect for a decal or two which were replaced after the kit decals fell apart. The weathering didn't turn out the way I wanted...

Aloha All,
Some progress on the Marder III, although subtle. I'm getting close to finishing this, but I'd like to work on the tracks some more and try some scratches.
Thanks for looking.

Bas, make sure that your camo and markings match up to create an accurate representation of a tank in the field.

Hey Matt, I've been following this campaign for a since I got back from Uni, so I thought I'd throw in my own entry, despite the fact that I go back in a week and the campaign ends soon.
I decided to build Dml's old Panther A as an Italian tank. Now to be accurate I know it had to have zimmerit, but I don't think that would be feasible given the time frame. Please let me know if this is alright or not?
The tank is at this stage atm:
The kit's been improved with the Eduard etch and masterclub tracks (both excellent sets!)
Now onto the quickest build I've ever done.

I'm sure that some of the Panthers were fielded that, had not yet, received zimmerit plating. So long as the markings match the ones of an Italian division, go for it.

Well I did nothing else for the last few days but work on the panther. I built it as a Panther from the italian campaign around 1944. The tank was painted with vallejo acrylics, the tracks were done with Gunze black, and the whole thing was weathered with oils and MIG pigments. The mud was made up of flock, plaster, pigments and oils.
Hope you like it!
The shell hits were something I saw on an Italian panther on a History channel programme, and thought to include it here. The figure is from the Tamiya Mobelwagen kit, with a hornet head. The tank is going on a dio with a lot of tank riders, but thats for another time.
Thanks for looking, and all comments welcome!

greetings all
looks like I'm not gonna be done in time with my submission. We had some health things come up that have taken priority over everything else the past couple of weeks. I'll submit photos anyway once it is done just to add to the record....if that's cool with everyone
thanks Peter

Hi gang,
It seems about a million years ago that I built two armoured cars for this campaign before stalling at the painting stage. Well, I never did get back to them owing to all sorts of reasons, and there ain't no way I'll manage to get them done by the weekend. So it is with regret that I am withdrawing from the campaign. I like the work I've seen here, and offer my compliments to all who will finish on time!
