Do I dare to ask, how long would that extra-extension be?? It´s sure, that my KV won´t be finished today... I´m facing three hours on soccerfield today partisipating on trainings and games, so all that time is away from modelingtime. My KV is about 95 % ready and I just noticed, that in this hurry trying to finish in time, I have forgot to paint periscope lenses to black..
I´ll try to upload pics tonight, if I have a time.
Damn, this is so embarrassing and frustrating..
Congrats to all others, who finished their KV´s in time.

This can´t be called finished..? Here´s where it stands right now. Flat cote on lower hull and roadwheels. Turret and upper hull still gloss cote. Friul tracks have gone thru DIY "Blacken-it" treatment and for some reason they got longer than before treatment. So I may have to remove one piece to get a proper amount of slag, now it looks too deep?

@ Bob, you did it!
@ Kimmo, that sag looks fine.. and you could say it has just rained and the tank is still wet from the downpour....
Well done to both of you!

Congratulations Bob and Kimmo. The KV-2 is looking quite good; and top heavy. Kimmo's KV has just gone through the Soviet Peoples Volunteer Workers Field Tank Wash (love to see that written out in Cyrilic).
Cheers,
Jan

I tried to post the images on the gallery before I posted them here, but somehow they're not there... bummer.
Should I try to repost them ?

Well, it seems I typed without my glasses again. I misspelled me (my) on my last reply, but any way thanks for my pretty ribbon Warren.

I forgot to add pics to gallery yesterday but for my critical eyes, my KV is far from complete one. I´ll make the finishing stages on it and take better pics for both gallery and here, if it´s Ok for you and specially Warren?

BrassNautilus wasn't enlisted as he was just posting pictures of some KVs he had made at an earlier time. I have closed the campaign back up to allow awarding of ribbons once more.
