I've started work on the Leopard 1A4. I am working on some styrene plugs to fill the motorization slots above the drive sprocket mounts. I've cleaned up the parts that make up the turret but haven't glued them together yet. It looks like a nice tight fit so far.

Campaign Bail Out
I know that this isn’t the usual campaign post, never the less I feel compounded to let you all know the reason I’m bailing out of this campaign. Of late I have been finding building to a deadline soul destroying in as much as I have begun cutting corners, building very quickly, and making a right hash of the project I happen to be building. The bottom line is I have no longer been enjoying the hobby, and in all honesty it is a hobby and should be enjoyed as such, and it shouldn’t be seen as a chore, and that’s how I feel it’s become, a chore. So I’m going to go back to building whatever I like, at my own pace. Enjoy the rest of the campaign, and I’m sure I’ll see you all on a campaign in the future.

Making progress on my Leopard 1A4. I glued the turret together except for the rear panel. I just glued the gun barrel together. The searchlight box has also been glued. Most of the parts for the rear hull panel are on as well. The wheels are still on the tree. When the hull and turret are ready for painting, I figure I'll spray the tree with the wheels at that time.
So far, the worst part is that all the smoke grenade launchers have a knock-out pin mark on them and mold seams.
I will take pictures later.

Left track skirt glued.
Rear panel glued on.
Turret and searchlight box glued.
Gun barrel glued but since the halves are a bit off, there will be filing and sanding to get it round again.

And shes done! Built straight from the box, weathered with oil wash and dry brushing with a little Mig pigment dusting. Only addition are the sand bags made with Milliput. Good campaign indeed!

Hey all. Better late than never I guess. Got a couple of Tamiya kits going right now so I figured I better get some WIP pics in as they are ready for paint. Both 1/25 scale older kits that literally built in a couple of days. A T-34/76 and the SU-100. I'm just now getting back into armor so I figured these two would be a great way to get back into the swing of things. Here's what I got so far:
More pics as the painting and weathering continues.

Hello everyone!
Great campaign so far, loving the builds!!
Just enlisted for this campaign, but I actually started working on it a few days ago (because I thought I was already enlisted). Any ways here’s what I am working on, an M20 armored utility truck. So far I have assembled most of it, finished most of the interior and painted it with the base color. A rather quick build, that’s the thing I like most about Tamiya sets … they just fit so perfectly.
The progress:
(ignore the M10 it’s for another campaign)
Regards,

Ummm ... BTW, it's a T34/85. Those are a fun, easy build. I think I have built 4 or 5 SU-100's in my life and have 2 or 3 still waiting in the stash.
What Nationality are you going to finish them in?

Here's where I am at with my build...the old 70's Tamiya Pz IIIL that I'm doing "old school" , using the techniques and methods that were available at the time (not that I actually know any more modern tecniques, mind you).
I DID however make one exception.... pinching more accurate decals from a modern dragon kit to show the 2nd Pz division at Kursk.
So the basic painting is complete , and now on to the weathering, etc...

Nice job on the old Pz. III, Peter. It looks good so far. Looking forward to see more.
Here is a little progress on my 2cm Flak. I poured some glue in the box, shaked it, and out came the finished kit. Well, almost that easy.
Usual Tamiya quality with great fit and nice details despite the age.
More to follow.

Hey Jeff... Thanks for the correction. T-34/85 it is!! I'm going to build them as basic Soviet, WWII Barbarossa time frame. Just getting back into armor so going to keep it simple for now. Got some paint on today. Pics soon. Thanks again.

OK... Been trying out my new spray booth. Works great!!
Anyway, got the base paint laid down and I think I got the color pretty close to what I had in mind. I have literally never weathered a tank before so this will be my first effort. I am going to start easy and go with some light weathering... No mud or anything like that yet, Just some basic wear and tear, dust etc. I'll be posting pics as I go.

Finally ready for the airbrush. I plan to spray the wheels while they are still on the tree. Tools, gun barrel, MG, and driver's mirrors will be painted separately and added later.

Got some decals and basic weathering started. Probably not going to do much more than this. Probably some dry brushing and a little dust. Almost done.

Thanks for a great campaign everyone
Well, I might go back and add some pigment to have some small dirt chunks stand out on the lower hull if it's tooo clean. But, I think it's done. Comments always welcomed.
